This is a great guard rail for when you convert your child’s crib into a bed (convertible bed). I’d like to address the many people’s reviews that state its not for cribs or kids or toddlers – I have no idea what they are talking about. The safety notes on this product say to not use this for kids under 2 (unsafe to turn their crib into a bed) and it’s not for actual beds (true) its for convertible beds/cribs only. It’s MADE for a convertible crib.That aside, this product works great. This is the second crib I have converted and second guard rail I have purcahsed (first time with ‘dream on’). What I really like about this rail is that it’s shorter than most others on the market. Because of this, it’s easier to sit on the floor an rub my child’s back – the low height is not a concen – my boy will not be falling out over this rail unless he is really climbing over it. The only downside is that while it’s snug and fits great, it doens’t “latch on” to the bottom of the crib/bed frame, it only rests on top. It was a tie/rope system to keep it in place but the sturdy-ness of it all doesn’t work until the mattress is laid down on top of it. This is fine but I’d highly prefer this to be locked in – he one of my kids was standing next to the bed and pulled up on it, it would surely displace.Last comment, which is true for all of these bed rail products: I dont understand why the metal pipes that secure the system and go under the mattress are so thick. Surely being made out of metal they can make them thin so it doesn’t effect the quality of the mattress (who wants 2 large poles under their mattress). Luckily I have a nice thick foam mattress in place over this and you really can’t tell but for cheaper mattresses, these bed rail products are surely a pain.Overall, I highly recommend this. There are no concerns with using this on a convertible crib when you turn it into a bed – that’s what it’s used for. It’s sturdy and is a great size and is a solid product.

and is very sturdy. This little bed rail is perfect for my little dog. I moved the bed so it was no longer against the wall. My minpin fell out of bed the first night after I moved things. So I got this little bed rail and it works perfectly for her <3

Came with a bent bar and it won’t go into the insert because of it. Just go it today so I’m extremely annoyed by this. It’s useless.Update: my unbent the bar and we were able to use it. Perfect size for a toddler bed. Put it to four stars instead of one or five because it shouldn’t come with damaged parts, but it’s actually perfect once put together.
