My boyfriend’s 5 year old daughter absolutely loved it! It comes with two different patterns, a unicorn one and a star one. She sleeps with the unicorn one every night. Very easy to use with just the perfect amount of light. Worth every penny.

Disappointing – Projection Blurry
While this item does basically what it advertises, I was disappointed. The quality of the projection is nowhere near what is shown in the examples. I did play with the placement of the projector, moving it around my daughter’s room, and the images were consistently blurry (and yes I also removed the film from the dome as instructed). The colors also don’t mix in all of the combos shown – you can either have colors white, red, green, or blue individually, or all of them at once (which essentially makes all of the images being projected a jumbled mess).Some other issues: The domes are very flimsy plastic. There are two provided, one for stars and one for unicorns, and there isn’t any way to store the extra dome. So if you aren’t using it, I can easily see it getting lost or crunched as it is essentially made of a very thin plastic.Unlike the product image, the stars do not shine through the top lid of the projector. A minor thing but it does mean you have a lid floating around to get lost, along with the extra dome.The base of the projector is not attached, the bottom of the projector is curved like an egg and sets in the separate base piece. It is really easy to knock or pull the projector off of the base and tip it over. Also, as the base is a separate little plastic piece, I likewise worry about it getting lost, at which point, the projector is going to be a lot less usable.Last, but seriously a big issue for me, the projector comes with a warning not to look at the light directly as it is very bright. Sure enough, I did accidentally look at the light while the projector was on and it definitely hurt my eyes. This was when the dome was on and spinning. I feel like asking a small child *not* to look at a pretty lamp with unicorns on it is going to be impossible—especially if they want to change the controls, turn it on or off, etc.—so I’m not actually that comfortable having my kid use this.Overall three stars because it functions, but I probably wouldn’t recommend this projector for a child’s room due to the instability, the blurriness, and the risk of hurting your eyes by accidentally looking at the light directly.

My granddaughter has limited attention span but she loves using this when she is sleeping over. It is dead simple to set up and bright / pretty in operation. She likes the design and looks forward to using it.

So cute! I love the unicorn style cover of the night light. The color of the lights are bright and beautiful, and the battery lasts quite a long time. This is great for people of all ages, but especially those 13 and younger. It’s well priced also!

Perfect Christmas gift
This was a Christmas gift and it was well received. She is in kindergarten and loves purple pink and unicorns. So this just brightened her little face. Depending on how long you leave it on is how long the batteries are going to last. It’s got the perfect brightness and it gives the child something to stare at so it calms them where they go to sleep a lot faster. There’s so many different colors to choose from depending on the color of it the recipient likes. The design is cute as it shows an actual unicorn even though it is round. Regardless it was a hit for Christmas. And I would definitely recommend.
