Great build!!
This set is great!! This does take patience, I spent give or take 12 hours over the course of a few days building it. I am a beginner so may take less time if you’re experienced. I had no issues with missing pieces, there was one piece that was misshapen but I used some extra pieces that were provided to make it work. The instructions are very easy to follow. They do include a lot of extra pieces, which was great because one or two pieces did fall to the floor and I lost them lol. I think I will buy some plastic glue to make some of the protruding pieces more secure, but mostly it feels very solid! Overall, this was a fun build and I will be buying more in the future!!

A true testament to “measure twice and cut once”
Overall, this 32 year old woman loved this. But you really need to know your next move before committing. Taking anything apart is a hassle, and unless it is put down the right way it can take a while to put it together.It comes with MANY bags, I forget how many, without a known number order marked. Making me have to look through the closed bag to see if it has the needed pieces to be opened next. I looked through the whole instructions and started putting the bags in order through my guesses to not have to search each time I had to open a new bag.Once a bag was open it took an easy hour to organize the pieces in their piles and assemble. Being easy over 12 bags, took over 12 hours to complete. I would just sit at my desk and do one bag a night, and maybe one while my kid was taking a nap.There was no tool provided to help separate anything and a few pieces easily get knocked off if touched. YET as a franchise fan but no space or money to build a true, huge Lego Hogwarts I love this as a display piece and the time forces to sit, focus, and get lost in the build. Even if I had my husband help a few times when I got frustrated.

Fun and very challenging build.
Well this has been challenging for sure. Pieces are very small for my big hands but it’s been a fun build. I know some have said the bags were not numbered but (see pictures) they are numbered just very hard to see. I didn’t see the numbers until around the 4th or 5th bag. But their definitely there. Instructions in my opinion are spot on. Every step was a layer to the total build. It was a fun build and very challenging. Still working on last building if anyone’s wondering.

Great set!
I love this set. I collect “mini Lego”, and this is the best set I’ve ever bought. All the pieces were there, with some extra for the tiny ones in case you lose them. The instructions were clear. Excellent value for the money. If you’re new to “mini Lego” this might not be the set for you. It is time consuming and your fingers will get sore. But it’s like that with all “mini Lego” sets. I wouldn’t recommend this set for kids under 12/13. My only complaint is that they don’t make more sets like Diagon Alley. Oh well.

Excellent Set
This set was awesome! I was a bit nervous as Amazon warned that this item was returned a lot, but I think people aren’t reading the description. The blocks are super tiny-just like it says! Do not expect full size blocks. The bags were labeled and included all pieces. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The end product is just the right size- it has great detail and isn’t too big.

Was super awesome until bag of legos were missing
The set is super awesome and fun to build, but ran into missing bag of legos needed to build the base of one of the castles. Had bags #1-4, #6-11, but missing bag #5. If it weren’t for that it’d be five stars.

For the price I very much enjoyed this set. With lego being way too pricy this is a wonderful and enjoyable alternative. It has very easy to follow instructions.

This set was difficult and made for a fun challenge. The instructions are different than regular Lego sets. As long as you pay attention and sort your piece of each bag before hand it is easy to follow along. I was missing 1 piece in one of the bags. Although due to the large amount of extra pieces given it was no problem and was able to use the extra one from another bag. I definitely recommend this set for adults!

Missing the first pieces needed. Ordered a second box which is also missing these pieces.Need 3 of large base squares to start and 2 more later on. Both sets only came with 1. Very dissapointing that there is no quality control

Thanks to previous comments, I said let’s give it a try and really it’s very nice. First thing to check are the serial numbers on the plastics bags. You’ll see the last digits change so you’ll have 11 bags. I used a marker to rename them to be more visual. After that, it’s easy but very long (1 hour per bag). Follow the directions precisely and you’ll enjoy a nice magical castle.Vraiment intéressant commeProduit. Bien prendre le temps de suivre les consignes et d’identifier les sacs. Une heure par sac et il y en a 11, mais ça vaut le coup. Bien content de cet achat
