The bee was easy to assemble. A simple push of each wing into the respective spot and that’s about it. You plug the cable c into the back and the usb port into the wall or into an adapter then into the outlet since that one didn’t have a usb port slot.Anyhow the back has 3 buttons1. Left button changes the colors with a quick press and cycles through the options2. Middle button a quick press powers it on and a long press powers it off3. Right button, a long press eliminates or removes the stars. A quick press brings them backOnce you position your bee and angle it best you can to the ceiling of choice you can now use the remote. I love having the remote because sometimes my bee is up on a counter so no one can touch it.It comes with a user manual so be sure to read it and not second guess the remote buttons like I did.Remote features:1 the main button is for power, a quick press powers it on or off2. The Timing off button far top right button is used if you had pressed 45 or 60 minutes and now you don’t want the timer anymore.3. The center button changes the mode. This is like the left button behind the base of the bee. You keep pressing it till you get to the color(s) you want4. There is a B+ AND B – this is for brightness. Keeping clicking the respective one to brighten or dim5. The S+ OR S- is speed of the light moving so if you want it faster click the S,+. I prefer it going really slow so it is more relaxing or yiu can press S- till it fully stops no movement if that fancies you.6. There is a star switch that has 3 functions 2 quick presses and 1 long press to turn it off.You will need two AAA batteries, none come with the unit.The star switch was the one that was giving me the most grief. It says short press to brighten n pause then short press to resume breathing but long press to turn off and at times the long press took more than one press. But it did work. Just fussy.The other con I had was in the front of the remote you would expect that to light up when pressing a button but it doesn’t. Rest assured the remote does work.Aside from that, it is a sturdy little bee that spans almost wide area. It was affordable and good value for what I paid for and my god daughter will love it.This is one of the projectors that casted the largest ceiling. I used it in the theater but also in the kitchen/living room and that spans almost 25ft x 15 ft which was incredible. Most rooms are more like 17 ft x 19 ft.

Overall it does as advertised and it works great. The brightness and quality of the projections and lasers are very high quality and the projection has a great range and field of vision. I have the projector on a small organizer decently high off the ground and it still covers the entire ceiling with plenty more room to spare. The projection is very mesmerizing and it smoothly changes colors and shapes. The actual projector is pretty high quality and durable feeling and it looks cute.The only issue I have with this product is that the location of the buttons are awkwardly placed behind where the projector is facing, meaning I have to weirdly reach under or around it to change settings. A clear solution to this issue would be the remote that it comes with but it seems the receiver is also located in a weird spot cause I seem to have issues trying to activate it or do anything with the remote unless I’m standing directly in front of the projector. A Wi-Fi app would be pretty helpful but this is only a small nitpick, overall it’s a great projector.

This ZGANVA Galaxy Projector, Bee Night Light for Kids thing is an atmospheric and stars projector. The display can be controlled by the included remote control to change color, brightness, nebula type, stars display and speed of change.This is a really cute unit that puts out a terrific display. This cute bee is a nice alternative to the many, many astronauts projectors out there. Control is very simple and wonderfully satisfying! This projector is powered by a USB block that is NOT provided. No special USB block is required and it worked well on three different types. The remote does include a battery, and works well. Some of the adjustments can only be done with the remote.The Star display is produced by a green laser and it projects fixed stars, but of different intensity and size. The adjustment of these stars was lame since they are off, on or slowly dim to off then slowly return back to full on. I find the stars to be quite attractive and leave them on.The bee head can adjust to angle up about 70 degrees, which is fine if the projector is placed on a table of higher shelf. The laser is kinf of bright but probably not dangerous, though I instruct the kids not to look at it directly. LOOK AT THE CEILING – IT’S COOL!! This is a great projector! I really like it!

I’ve actually had the luck to try quite a few different laser/led ‘lightshow’ projectors, and I have to say that this one is probably the nicest of them thus far. Its key benefit vs the others I’ve found is that it has what seems to be a wider angle to splay the light, and further, is much more adjustable – so even putting it on a relatively high shelf still allows decent coverage of the room.This one has a real ‘borealis’ feel about it, with lights streaking across the ‘sky’. The unit itself is well built, and has a USB-C port, over fused cable, which makes it much easier to place and manipulate. The remote control, while not that much more fully featured than others I’ve tried (most using that very barebones IR remote that everything from China seems to have) is also really well made. I think that’s essentially what marks this apart from its peers and explains the slightly higher price. It is quite simply, made better.The aesthetic is good, no plastic tags or other overt signs of poor manufacturing/detailing, though it does look a little strange to be a bee. The wings are separately packaged (included, mind you) so I didn’t bother installing them in my unit.I like this one for setting the atmosphere before I sleep, actually. It’s very cathartic to just sort of sit there and watch it, cozy in bed on a cold night.As I often mention in my reviews on this category of item, do be a bit careful if you have pets. My own experience has been that my dog really dislikes it. He does not want to be in the room at the same time it’s on – he is a bit of a scaredy-dog though, so your mileage may vary. On that front, remember this is a product with lasers in it – and you will want to be careful about placement – especially if you have pets. I’d recommend having the remote powered on and ready to go so you don’t have to get close and risk any sort of issues there.Anyhow, it looks really nice, has a very calming effect, and is genuinely built better than much of its competition in this category. That does lend it a higher price tag, but I feel like it’s worthwhile. Not a huge fan of the aesthetic (I suppose for kids it’s going to be quite fun, though a bee is still a rather odd choice) but the actual quality of design and effort they put into this one is self-evident.Great way to fall asleep, especially if you’re willing to let a little cold air come in from outside. The aurora borealis, localized in your home, no excuses involving a utica dialect necessary. This first time I hit the “power on” button, I was very surprised! The effect is immediately stunning! You have just entered a star field, somewhere in the universe! Again, stunning!Out of the box, you are presented with a very made little astronaut – although with the included wings, he is, apparently, a bee. Two legs, boots, two arms and two hands – with five digits per hand, I might add – this little being is a human! As a side note, his/her arms also move. You can move them in almost 360 degrees, only being stopped by the beings huge head.Most of the weight is in the head, but it remains very well balanced, somehow. There are four high quality rubber feet that prevent the unit from traveling along a hard surface.All the projection equipment is located in the units head, and that head can be angled about 75 degrees. I only guessing here, but it is enough to get great coverage of a ceiling.The unit does not contain batteries, so you need to be plugged into power. You are supplied with a USB-A to USB-C power cable, but no adapter.The light show is brilliant! I you love science fiction, or just science or space, this will absolutely “WOW” you. It is like looking up into the heavens. Some of stars are brighter, and some are dimmer. And they are everywhere! A beautiful second feature is the Aurora Borealis – or that’s how I feel about it. It presents a pattern of moving bands of coloured light across the sky. I have witnessed this once myself, and just seconds after watching this light show on my ceiling, I was triggered back to the time of a cool winters night.You have control over brightness, colour and speed of change. On top of all that, you can also set a timer for either 45 or 90 minutes, where the machine will turn off for the night.The handy remote control makes using the various functions easier, and it feels well constructed. The buttons are firm and clearly marked. For example, the timer functions are each a single push button. Nice!There are some warning about looking directly into the laser, and because of that, you have to aware of children. And some, more than others. This might not be the best present to a child who is always doing pushing the envelope. That said, I think most kids will find this a real wonder to look at! I know I do, and I haven’t been a kid for a good sixty years!Bottom Line – A excellent star generator machine. With the Aurora Borealis thrown in, for good measure! It is amazing to just sit and gaze and wonder! Five out of five seems too low for such quality!
