Perfect for My Newborn’s Needs
When my baby was born, finding the right diaper size and brand was a bit overwhelming, but I’m so glad I chose these Size 1 diapers. They’re perfect for my little one, who is within the 8-14 lbs range. The fit is just right — snug, but not too tight, which helps prevent leaks and blowouts. I’ve noticed that they hold up really well, even during those long nights when my baby sleeps for hours.The absorbency is excellent, and I love how soft the diapers feel against my baby’s skin. There’s no irritation or redness, even after extended wear, which has been a huge relief. Plus, the 198-count pack is a great value, and I don’t have to worry about running out too quickly.

the Snuggle-Butts
These Huggies Little Snugglers are like tiny spaceships for my little astronaut. They launch her into comfort and dryness orbit. Most of the time. Okay, let’s be real, sometimes there’s a minor meteor shower (aka leak). But hey, even space has its off days. The landing is always soft, which is a major plus for this rookie earthling. Would be five stars if they came with a built-in diaper changing table. But overall, a solid choice for tiny butts in training.

Pretty good, but fray easily
It’s been 5 years since we’ve last needed these diapers, and they’re not as good as I remember. They do hold everything in pretty well… we’ve not had major blowouts or leaky diaper issues, but taking the side clasps off during changes causes the diaper to fray a lot. This is an issue because the stringy stuff gets in our baby’s leg creases and could potentially get wrapped around his sensitive bits. We’ve managed to catch all the loose pieces before they became an issue, and I’ve learned to run my finger under to collect most of it before the diaper change, but it’s annoying.

My experience with different diapers.
Im a first time parent and am experimenting with some brands of diaper for my baby. I have tried kirkland , pampers, huggies so far.KIRKLANDKirkland diapers are the cheapest and if you can find it on a deal it’s super cheap. The absorption of liquid is very good. And I have never spotted a leak from that. But those diapers have some design prints in the outside which is in blue color. It greatly confuses if the diaper has turned blue or yellow. Another drawback I found is the adhesive flap immidiately sticks to the inside of the diaper and makes it difficult to roll it for disposal. So I’d rate it 5/10HUGGIESThese diapers have the same type of adhesive flaps as kirkland ones. It doesn’t seem to be that big of a problem, But the diaper gets swollen even before it is half full and baby starts feeling very uncomfortable on a single pee. Also the inside of the diapers has embossed pattern which makes imprints on the baby’s skin.It has leaked once!! I wonder what solely is the purpose of a diaper So to me Huggies is a big ‘No’ . I’d rate 3/10PAMPERSSo far it is the best. The adhesive flaps are broad enough and elastic. The sticky tape is colored yellow, this is very helpful when changing diapers in the night light.It has no prints to confuse with the blue line.It also doesn’t has any pattern. And pampers occupies less space than the other two I tried.And that’s the sole reason it’s a bit more pricey than others but I’d say it’s totally worth it!9/10

Perfect, if Newborn Baby’s weight is >8lb
Our idea was to use the Huggies N for our newborn, but we soon realized that’s not the case. Healthy and bigger (full term/40+ week) babies need bigger and better coverage. And hence size 1 fits better. Soon the problem of late night leaking and all was gone.

Check size chart closely!
I bought these after loving the newborn size. However, I think there were a couple things at play that made me not love these. First, lots of blowouts, which wasn’t our experience at all with the smaller size. I double checked the size chart and realized that while these are 8-14 lbs, size 2 is 12-18 lbs, so if you have a chunkier baby (like I do) size 1 may be too small if you’re nearing the 12/13 lb range. That said, I now have both size 2 and these size 1s on hand and we’ve had fewer blowouts in the size 1s, so I’m wondering if the first few in the pack were just defective? Either way, I wasn’t overly happy with how these performed.

I’m a first time mom, with family recomendations I went with Pampers diapers first. I did not consider, however, the women I was taking this advice from had been moms over 15+ years ago when Pampers used to be the better diapers. Pampers fit smaller, so they’re better for smaller kids. Didnt like them because your baby outgrows them QUICK by 4 weeks old my baby was leaking out of her diapers. And she was only 6.5 lbs, skinny. Also, you can hear the diaper as the baby moves their legs around, sounds plasticy. Huggies are soooo much softer, they fit a lot nicer, much bigger, AND LOVE the little flap on the back for blowout diapers.. thanks to that I’ve never had to deal with the mess which is super handy with those middle of the night diaper changes. Wish they smelled better tho.. they don’t smell terrible but they don’t smell nice lol. I’m re offending Huggies to all my friends who have babies, absolutely HATE Pampers. If you’re a first time mom, definitely try these.
