Boon Trove: My No-Brainer Breast Milk Lifesaver!
Oh man, the Boon Trove manual breast milk collector? It’s a total game-changer for pumping moms. Super soft silicone that fits right in your bra, no fuss, no spill, no batteries – just passive suction that grabs up to 3 oz during letdown without you lifting a finger. I think it’s way comfier than other brands with rubbery silicone, feels more natural against the skin. Cleans up in the dishwasher or can be easily hand-washed with a bottle brush, and it’s discreet enough for errands. I’ve forgotten it’s on and worn it for a couple hours at a time with no leakage or spills while chasing my toddlers. I only got one but totally regret it, should’ve gotten the two pack! It’s worth every penny if you’re breastfeeding!

    Must Have.
I wish I had this from the start. I decided to buy this after the well-known differently shaped one (which sucks half my boob into it, sometimes painfully) was kicked off by my nursing baby yet again… and I seriously love it. Gentle suction, fits in my bra, and I regularly get 1.5-2oz from my slacker side and 3+ from the other by doing basically nothing. For longer feeds I do have to dump it into something else mid-feed or it’s too full, but it’s easy to put back on if that’s what I want to do.No squeezing/folding/yadda yadda. Just place over your nipple, press down, and off you go. Thankful for the included plug. Easy to use, pour from, and rinse out. I’ll recommend this to any new mom I know who plans to BF.

Why use breastpads when you can use this?
I wanted a passive collection cup that was wearable and wouldn’t fall off and spill, this one is super comfortable and sits right in your bra. If you wanted to add suction it does a good job of that as well. Personally ive tried the traditional Hakkaa, and medelas version with the lanyard. Both are knocked off easily and are painful. they actually made my nipple and areola turn purple and bruise. Now that I have an infant and a toddler there’s no way I could use that kind. You can use this on the opposite breast to just sit and collect your letdown instead of letting it waste in a breastpad, you can build a freezer stash or give that milk to your baby. you can wear them at night to catch leaks and keep your bed clean, though i wouldnt keep that milk if you do wear them at night unless youre getting up every couple of hours. you can add suction and use it like a wearable pump or just wear them around the house. Its super comfortable I forget its there. Fairly easy to clean and its flat on the bottom so it can stand up, its also easy to pour out of.

    Easy-to-use and good quality
I really like these!! When I began breastfeeding I needed something to catch the leaking milk and this did the trick. I have even used them laying down while I breastfeed my baby and it did not leak or move!! Now that my supply has dropped I dont use it as often. I do carry one as an emergency in the car in case I need it and it works well to just relieve the fullness. I also love the plug because sometimes I am too tired to get up so I leave it on my nigtstand and it doesn’t spill (just don’t forget to actually put it away – I have had to toss a few sessions because I forgot to store it properly and left it out).

    Easy to use milk collector
This is an extremely comfortable passive milk collector, and in the past few days I have forgotten I was wearing it several timesOnly reason to take off a star is it will fall off if you lean over too much, and sometimes takes a few tries to get it to stay sealedI use it while breastfeeding and pumping, and am an overproducer, and it gets colostrum and mature milk out easily, and can be worn while breastfeeding to catch letdown. This fits perfectly, and my flange size is 28mm, which can be uncomfortable with other pumps and collectors running smaller typically. It is very easy to pour milk from and clean, and dries quickly.I have only had my baby kick it off once so far, and he got two hard kicks in before it came off, so it does have some stay on its own.

    Game changer
Yes, I spilled my fist batch. No, I didn’t cry because this was the easiest milk I’ve ever collected. In just my first night using it I collected roughly 8oz -not including what I spilled! I exclusively breast feed and used this on just one breast while my baby feeds on the other. Y’all… this is more than I capture in my once daily pumping session and I just collected it passively while feeding my babe!It is very easy to use just give it a slight squeeze and set. It has such good suction I haven’t needed a bra to hold it AS LONG AS I am stationary while using it. It stays on well even through my baby’s kicks. It’s base isn’t large or sturdy so have the lid ready and dont trust it to stay upright. I don’t really trust the lid/plug either so I try to pour it into a storage container ASAP.If I could change one thing I would go back in time and have this on my registry and ready for the day my milk came in. I just bought it at 2 months postpartum and it is still life changing even at this stage. No more engorged nights. No more long pumping sessions. Now I can feed my baby, collect milk for later, and have my hands free to drink my iced coffee all AT THE SAME TIME.

    Get this!
LOVE . Gentle but effective suction. Fits in bra well, not to noticable which is great for public. Doesn’t hurt. Baby can’t kick it off.

  8. Chasity

    Okay
The thought it there, just doesn’t have the best suction. Works better for just sitting there to catch let down

    cumplen su funcion

I love this product!! I haven’t tried similar products such as the Hakka to compare but I can’t rate the boon trove more highly. It suctions easily and stays in place – despite me having a very wriggly baby who likes to kick and wriggle he hasn’t managed to knock it off yet! I also get such a good collection from it – usually around 30-40ml for a good feed. Really easy to clean. I have recommended to a few friends!

Mega einfache Handhabung. So easy war Milch abpumpen noch nie.

  12. Kelly

This seriously works! It quickly gets out any excess milk and can get anywhere from 30-90mls in barely any time and with no effort and not being stuck holding a pump. The only thing to remember is it can sometimes only get pale fore-milk but I have also gotten thick fatty milk from it too! (Depending how full I am)

I have several different milk collectors, and this is the best one! My goal is to collect leaking milk hands-free from the other side while breastfeeding my baby.Haakaa Original: It’s too long and hits the baby’s head, making it impossible to use.Haakaa Ladybug: It has very weak suction, and most of the time, I need to hold it. If you’re wearing a nursing bra, this won’t be a problem. However, I prefer lying down and being topless during feeding. This collector provides enough suction to stay secure without causing pain. It collects every drop, stands by itself, and is easy to pour out by following the arrow.Cons: Because it’s one piece, it requires more care to wash and dry. I use clean cloths and 70% ethanol to sterilize and dry it. The Ladybug has the same problem and is even harder to clean.
