Perfect Little Desk for Kindergarten Prep in Our Living Room
We use this Delta Children MySize Chair Desk in our living room since we hang out there a lot, and it’s been a great addition for my toddler. My son will be starting kindergarten soon, and this will be super useful for practicing sitting at a desk to color, write, and read while staying close to us.The size is perfect for a toddler, low enough for him to get in and out independently while giving him enough space for snacks, crafts, and practice work. The build quality feels sturdy and stable, and I feel comfortable letting him climb in and out or lean while coloring.Assembly took me about 40 minutes to build by myself. The instructions were clear, but figuring out which screws to use was sometimes a little confusing, though manageable once I laid everything out.The grey finish looks clean and modern, blending in with our living room without looking out of place, and it wipes down easily after snacks or art time. The storage bin under the seat is super handy for keeping crayons, coloring books, and small toys organized, and the cup holder is useful for markers or water bottles.I also appreciate that the desk is easy to move around if I need to adjust its position in the living room or slide it out for vacuuming, while still being heavy enough that it doesn’t tip easily.For the price, this desk is excellent value for money. I got this for my 1yo granddaughter. She sits in it all the time and eats her snacks or sits and plays with her books. Easy to clean. Comfortable. Doesn’t take up much room. Sturdy. Easy to assemble. Good price. I had to pay extra to ship through UPS since Amazon would not ship to a certain city in Colorado.

I love it, my daughter hates it.
I thought this would be a great new piece of furniture for my two-year-old daughter for when she wants to use her flashcards or color. I dreamed of her sitting in it. I think she’d rather try to balance herself on her head (if she had the ability) rather than sitting in it.Overall it’s a great desk, and I can hope that we can train her to use it after she gets more comfortable sitting in long periods of time. Even at two years old, she has a lot of room to grow into this chair (it looks like it can comfortably sit a three-to-four-year-old.The desk was pretty easy to put together. The desk in the manual had a slightly different design than the desk that I had (the backplate had ears), but it only took me a second to find the discrepancies between the part I had and the part demonstrated in the manual. But with any IKEA experience, you should be able to put this desk together in less than 30 minutes, and that’s taking your time.

Amazing for Craft and Snack Time
We have 2 of these in our house. They have been the best additions to snack time and craft time. The drawer underneath serves as the perfect place to hold crayons and coloring sheets.It is sturdy and can handle a crazy 3 year old climbing up and down off and on without the worry that it won’t fall apart.The assembly is super easy to understand and comes with everything needed to put together.

Helpful to transition from high chair
My daughter loves it . Helpfully if your transitioning your baby from high chair to regular chair to eat or do activities . She’s very fussy when she’s eating and wants to get out of the chair . So she now has free will to go and sit as she pleases. Has stopped growing food on the floor and is very clean eater
