Fossil eggs with hidden Dino’s.
My Grandchildren have had the best time digging in these eggs for dinosaurs!! They love the information cards that come with each dinosaur. The dinosaurs are very small, of course, to fit inside an egg, but they still seem to be a good value for the money I spent and are of ample quality. They are the perfect size for toddlers to carry around in their little hands and play with. My Grands can name almost all of them

More for a Craft
I was creating a science related lesson for my classroom and I couldn’t help thinking of doing a lesson around fossils and dinosaurs. It was a great activity for kids! I ordered 2 cases and it came with picks and brushes to use on the dinosaur eggs themselves. While the cards are really questionable and the grammar is broken, I didn’t use them and only used the eggs to allow my students to dig like paleontologists. Great for a science lab! But I wouldn’t rely on the facts they give with the cards.Also I didn’t have the kids dip them in water, but they spent a good 10-15 minutes digging. They loved it though!

Such a Blast to Do, Educational and Engaging
I bought this for my 6 year old who loves dinosaurs and we had a blast chiseling the eggs and finding our dinosaurs! The kit comes with 12 hard clay eggs that you have to soak for about 5 minutes in a cup of water to soften the clay. Each egg comes with it’s own directions and chisel, so if you are using this for a class or birthday party, everyone has their own materials to use. I also love that each egg has a different dinosaur in it so there are no duplicates within the kit and the element of surprise is so much fun!Once you have soaked the egg, use the chisel to chip apart and scoop the clay. After a few minutes, you get a small dinosaur. She likes to play with hers in the tub. These are kind of expensive, but they are a lot of fun and educational because the kit comes with some cards that tells facts about each dinosaur and you can also practice classifying them by plant or meat eater, two legged or four legged, etc. There is so much to do with these! There are other kits as well such as sea life and wild animals that I plan to purchase.

Soooo cool!!!!
This is SUCH an awesome kit!!! It has TONS of eggs and is so exciting for my 6 year old!! As a teacher, I absolutely LOVE the identification cards with dinosaur info and the chart that shows what dinosaurs they will find!! Im going to have my child decide what dinosaur they got using the chart, have them find the correlating card, and I will read the dinosaur info to them. Maybe I’ll ask my child if they think it was a carnivore or herbivore before I read it to them. I love how this kit incorporates education with the excitement of discovery!! I bought another one for a friends upcoming birthday party!!
