I wouldn’t want this in my room. It seems tacky, but through the eyes of a 7 year old boy, this is the best thing ever. So I can’t complain. The kids want this on every night. USB-C power source is good.

Cute light-weight dinosaur design. Projects well and the images are clear. The item could be used as a night light, a calm down tool, or even just something to watch. Item is easy to use. My son loves the vibrant colors. It seems to be sturdy and has held up with several uses.

AWESOME DINOSAUR STAR PROJECTOR!
If a picture is worth a thousand words then I hope my video is worth a million words because this is something you have to see to understand how really cool it is! It has been a hit with my little Grands as well as their parents and my husband as well!This little Dinosaur is just extremely cute and the Lightshow that it puts onto my ceiling and wall is just so awe inspiring and so many ooohs and ahhhs and bright eyed wonder and amazement (and the kids love it too!) lol!I love that the colors are very vivid and the brightness can be dimmed with the remote which does use 2 AAA batteries that are not included. It does come with a USB charging cord that I was not happy with the length of but fortunately I had a longer USB cord that makes it easier to plug into the wall and have plenty of room on the side table.The colors are beautiful and the speed of rotation can be adjusted to stationary or spinning like in my video. The dinosaur head is magnetic and sits aptly on the neck. Its tail however is magnetic but I find falls off a little too easily if I pick it up and not pay attention.It has a timer function for 45/90 minutes. Press the timer and the first time it will be show a blue light that’s for 45 minutes. Press it again the light will go red and the timer will be set for 90 minutes. If you want to cancel out the timer so that it stays on all the time just long press the timer button on the remote.The instructions are very helpful and easy to read and follow. It stares that if the ambient temperature is hot or if the dinosaur light is not on the timer then the brightness of the nebula and stars will dim due to the heat of the light source. This can be fixed by powering it off for 15 minutes or so then turn it back on to restore the brightness.The only cons I have beside the USB cord being too short and the tail falling off easily is I wish the colors could be chosen without having to cycle thru the whole gamut to find the color I want.But I was planning to take off a star for these cons but then I look at the cute Dinosaur and then the smiles on my Grands faces and I just couldn’t deduct a star for these minor details. But I wanted to mention them just to be completely honest with my review in case these cons might make a difference to you reading my review. But overall this is a really cute Dinosaur and if you have a Dinosaur Loving family this would be a wonderful addition for a game room or play room, bedroom (especially for the Littles) and would make a great Birthday, Halloween or Christmas gift for kids and adults from 1-100! Toodles!

I ordered and received this “Dinosaur Projector, Star Projector Galaxy Night Light, Starry Nebula Lamp with Remote and Timer, Kids Room Decor, Christmas, Birthdays, Great Present for Kids, Green” to replace a “spaceman” version that saw its final days recently. The kids are loving the upgrade. This dinosaur is apparently “WAY COOLER” and the display is much more crisp display than the previous one, and there are more customization options with the remote.The projector is very cool and has a lot of lighting options, from changing the speed of the rotation and the brightness of the light to selecting specific patterns to suit your (or your child’s) preferences. I really like that when we don’t have the projector on, the “body” is literally the body of an itty bitty T-Rex, so it still looks right in a child’s room. There’s a timer function, though we’ve not really used it since the second the projector is turned off, cries of protest immediately follow.On a more “from a grownup’s perspective” slant, one of the things I personally like the most is that the stars can be disabled completely if you don’t want them. It’s a cool feature, the stars, but even at the lowest setting I would find it difficult falling asleep with them on. They’re very VIVID, which is generally good, just less awesome if you’re trying to get some shuteye.Over all, no complaints about this projector really. Currently this cool little dino is priced at $29.99, but also has an extra 10% discount, so it’s only $26.99 as I type this. If you’re in the market for a tiny T-Rex with the ability to project stars from its gaping maw as some kind of challenge to the Universe, this is one I’m happy to recommend!

If you have a child or grandchild who loves dinosaurs, then this Dinosaur Star Projector Galaxy Night Light is a must-have! Firstly, the dinosaur is a fantastic design for sitting out as a room decor option in the daytime. It is a perfect size for a bookshelf, nightstand, or dresser. It goes nicely with almost any dinosaur or kid-themed room. The projector is fantastic. We have another projector that is boring compared to this one. The dinosaur head can be rotated to direct the projection wherever needed or wanted. The green and red colors of the nebulas are vibrant, while the dino projector is not too bright or distracting if used as a nightlight. The remote allows for many options that is great for kids to keep by the bedside, especially if viewing in bed. I am really happy with this projector. It is a perfect gift option as well. Value for the money is excellent.
