My son is 4 years and we enjoyed learning about the different types of animals and placing the correct stickers over the corresponding animal. The game quality was not the best, because the four cardboard puzzle pieces created one large snakes and ladder game board the constantly keep coming apart. The Instruction book was easy to read and complete experiments, Educationally it brought a fun atmosphere to learning science!! Functionality of everything is GREAT. 4-6 years of age

Nice little kit
Bought this for my 5 yo grandson. I’m determined to get him interested in science in addition to his video game and Nerf gun addictions. I visit him every weekend, and now he insists on ‘doing science’ every time.We’ve done color mixing, several ‘volcano’ things (the one in the instruction book, plus the lemon volcanoes, and another one I found on the internet). We’ve also make slime. That one is harder because it’s hard for him to get the right amount of psyllium husk powder out and then you don’t know how much water to add. Still fun.It comes with a game like Chutes and Ladders, which we haven’t played yet. It also has a book about animals with stickers to add in. We pick an animal each week. He puts the sticker in the book, and I read what the book says. Then I used my phone to look up videos about them. We’ve watched crabs walk sideways, and seen how smart octopuses are, plus rabbits!This is a great little kit but it definitely requires an adult or teenager to supervise.

We gave this set to our neighbor’s daughter, a bright 4 year old (we’re the neighborhood grandparents). The mom just told me that they’d just finished the last experiment. Daughter always wanted to do one more! It is such a wonderful bit of news, to have picked a very-well received gift.

This kit has a good combination of books, puzzles and board games. They all come together very well. Especially the Dinosaur book and puzzle are favorite amongst kids. My 6 year old boy loves the kit.

The Snakes and Ladders board game in here is an absolute classic. Was looking for that as I landed up on this kit. My girl liked all the other elements in the kit – the animal encyclopedia, the dinosaur book etc. The sticker activity is nice.
