Perfect Transition Bottle – Baby and Parent Approved
Dr. Brown’s Milestones Sippy Straw Bottle has been a lifesaver for us! The wide-neck design is super easy to fill and clean, and the weighted straw means my baby can drink from any angle—even when reclining. The 100% silicone handles are soft, easy for little hands to grip, and help encourage independent drinking. It doesn’t leak, travels well, and the gray and green colors look great. It’s the perfect next step after bottles, and my 6-month-old took to it right away. Highly recommend for an easy, stress-free transition!

Great valve straw
We usually stick to valve free straw cups like the ezpz or TumTum brand, but we wanted a bottle that my 13 month old could invert without spilling. My son took to this bottle easily despite valve straws being harder to drink from than free flowing ones. He finds this bottle really interesting and keeps wanting to drink from it. The straw comes apart in two pieces and pulls out from the cup easily making every part of the bottle easy to clean. This bottle comes with a straw cleaner which is a bonus. I find that it leaks a little when you open the lid because water stays trapped in the straw, but it doesn’t spill when inverted.

Perfect!
My one year old son LOVES these. I first used the honeybear bottles to teach him how to use straws, then i switched to these and took to them beautifully. I have bought so many more after this first set and they are perfect. All together its 4 pieces, easy to clean and put together. Perfect

Good but has issues
My toddler loves these bottles. They do often have problems with suction and you have to take it apart and put it back together. Once you get it right, it’s fine and doesn’t lose suction, but that can be frustrating at first. And sometimes when it is sitting still, the milk will overflow out of the straw and leak all over. I also don’t like that she has bit through several straws and they don’t seem to offer replacements for those parts alone – you have to buy a whole new bottle. I do like that the straw goes all the way to the bottom and she can get every last drop. I’ve found that a lot of straw cups don’t get it all. She does have to be sitting up to drink it, which is good, but just note that if your kid lays down to drink a bottle or tries to lift it up, it won’t work.

Worst cup ever no suction, leaks and hard to clean
This is the worst straw cup my 18 month has ever used. If you use it for milk it is hard to clean and no matter how long you clean it for in some of the groves or straw there is always a cheesy smell!!! I normally like Dr. Brown products but this was a big bust for me. I would rather be cleaning bottles. Also they leak like crazy and the straw has to be in perfectly in order for it to work otherwise you have a fussy toddler and you are left sucking on the straw trying to fix it yourself.Only get this cup if you want to have multiple arguments with your partner.

It’s ok.
This is a good brand to begin with. I trust the quality. I bought these for my 1.5 age granddaughter because she wanted to always drink from my water bottle. But the way it works is not ideal. The straw bends when you pull back the top and it’s not easy for her to sip from. The straw is weighted on the bottom so the straw stays put even when it’s tilted. The handles are nice that there are 2 and it’s a safe plastic. But the design isn’t great. I don’t think I’d buy them again with this particular design.

I took two of these as everyone mentioned how wonderful they are. I unfortunately tend to disagree. Yes it’s great that you can take them apart but my baby sometimes struggles to take the drink from the straw so then it needs “trialling” before you give it to your baby.If the parts are not assembled quite right then the suction unfortunately doesn’t work.I am now looking into a different option due to this 🙂

My little has been using this since 6 months old! Easy to use and easy to clean! Milk does spill out of the straw at times, but I have had this problem with every single straw cup we have used.
