Cute & fun set to work on creativity and fine motor skills
My kids (ages 3.5 and 5) absolutely loved this garden set! We already own a few design & drill sets but they loved this one a lot because they love helping me with our garden! My kids love to create her own flowers and drill it in. The power drill is so cute and it fits perfectly in small hands. I love that they can be creative and use their imagination to create their own gardens! I also love that they are both working on their fine motor skills by using the drill. The drill, garden base, and bolts are all very durable so I know this will last a long time! This is such a fun and cute toy!

Great gift idea for 3 year olds
Love this design and drill for my 3 year old daughter to play with. This is a great option for independent play. The drill needs 2 AA batteries.

    Tools aren’t just for boys!
My husband isn’t the handiest person around (think IKEA-level), but on the few occasions he has to use power tools, our girls (4 and 6) are always intrigued by the noisy machines. So when they got to use this “power drill,” they were ecstatic. This flower set is perfect for them because 1) it allows them to be creative in setting up the design of each flower and the entire garden, 2) they can disassemble and reassemble over and over again, and 3) they can learn how to use power tools in a safe manner. The drill even makes the clicking sound that the real power drills make when a screw is on tight, letting them know the screws are completely in.The set comes with plenty of petals so the kids can come up with multiple combinations for the flowers. If I can nitpick about one thing, it would be that there could be more space in the garden, as some flowers get crammed when two or more flowers of the same height are next to each other. But this is a minor thing that the kids don’t even notice.Overall, I would highly recommend this to all kids!

Fun practicing skills and getting creative
My 4-year-old daughter is super girly. She wants to be a princess and wear a crown and sparkly everything. I thought this would be a great way to get her thinking and working on fine motor skills while appealing to her love of all things bright and girly. I like how we can use this over and over again and still get a different result. I tried to keep the directions on how to put it together vague. I wanted her to figure how to put it together herself. After trial and error, she figured out how to get the drill into the flower. At first, she only used 1 petal, but then noticed that more petals look prettier. So she experimented with flower designs. She loved feeling like she was building and creating something. This is a different toy and I really like it! The petals are sturdy– they withstood my 2 year old trying to rip them off.

Drill stopped functioning after 30 min.
For the 30 min the drill worked, our daughter loved this toy. Even after replacing the batteries, the drill still did not work.

    Gardening without the mess!
This is a super fun toy for not just my daughter but my son as well. At age 5, they were able to drill the stems, the variety of petals, and then finish it with a final screw. It’s a super engaging toy, teaching them not just the basic parts of a flower, but also basic construction. It’s a great STEAM toy. My daughter loves all the combinations of colors, sizes, and shapes of the petals. As a mom, I love the independent play time that my children are engaged in for long periods of time, building and rebuilding new flowers for their garden. It truly is a great toy!

    Open and used clearly
The box of the item was open and damaged. It was shipped in a bag and the bag was not damaged. So it leads me to believe it was used and returned then sent to me. It appeared to be used the toy. I got this as a birthday gift, so the box being open and damage and toy being used doesn’t make for a great gift. It appears to have all the pieces I think. How do you wrap an item that the box of it is damaged but it’s what explains what is it so you can’t leave the box out.

    Fosters tons of creativity!
I originally got this set for my 2 year old daughter, but she wasn’t coordinated enough to operate the drill- but she LOVED helping her 5 year old brother do it!!! He loved creating different flower designs and drilling them onto the stem. It’s cool how you can arrange everything however you want for endless ways to create and hours of fun play!! My son loves that the drill is just like daddy’s too!!

I got this for a toddler who is very interested in watching her dad work on the car. I considered the car kit from the same line but I think this one’s better because the car (and rocket and other similar kits I see) is only assembled once then it’s done. Because the plants can be repositioned in various patterns, and the petals can be arranged in infinite ways, it’s more likely a kid will continue to be amused by taking this apart and redoing it again and again. And because there’s more than one way to do it, they will feel more pride in their project since they designed it a bit. As for other drill toys, with most of them there’s no goal, the bolts just screw into a hole, they don’t connect anything. I think actually assembling something is a much more satisfying, and real-world-relevant activity.Don’t forget to buy batteries for it!
