Great Portable Pump for Active People
I am happy with this pump for my portable pump! I was recommended this pump by my OBGYN who got this pump because she is on her feet all day/active and I’m glad I went for it. So far I have been able to produce as much or more than my Spectra 1, which is fantastic. The benefit on top of it is that I can be hands free. The tubes and motor with the clip do not bother me, as the results are exactly what I need. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to be hands-free and pump. I will say, it’s not very discreet, but it is really quiet.

    Game changer!!!
The BEST breast pump!! I tried several pumps before purchasing this one. I needed something hands free so I wasn’t connected to the wall for every pump session. My milk supply INCREASED when I switched to this pump. Comfortable, easy to use, easy to clean.

    Overall very, very good
I am a first time mom, but this is my second pump. I was lucky enough to be able to work remotely with my little one so I didn’t have to worry about this until I did. For my first two months back at work I pumped with my spectra and could not, no matter how hard I tried give enough time to pumping to produce enough milk for my girl while still being able to devote enough of my time to work. My search ensured. I could not afford a willow despite how much I wanted one, but after days of reading reviews I decided to buy the Elvie. On my first pump at work after a very short test drive at home, I found that it worked incredibly well. The suction was better than the spectra, the motor was quiet enough that I could work while using it, and best of all I wasn’t stuck in a quiet dark room for 30 minutes at a time unable to properly perform my work. There are two very small drawbacks. The plugs do pop off easily, but when open make lining the flanges up easy. The second, and it’s only happened once, but losing six ounces of milk makes me obligated to mention that the seal wasn’t perfectly lined up so when I pulled it out of my bra it opened and I lost every drop. With a girl who now goes through 24 ounces at daycare I can’t afford to lose any milk let alone six ounces. This was a learning experience for how I remove it and it hasn’t happened again. Overall this is a very, very good pump and I would definitely recommend it!

Took some getting used to but I love it now!
I bought this pump after being tired of stationary pumping. I was worried that it wouldn’t empty me very well, but it performed just as good as my medela pump – I know because I tried to manual pump after using the Stride a couple of times to check if there was more to give, and there were just drops.I also read some reviews where people couldn’t get all the pumped milk out, so I do have a tip for this below.PROS:- love being mobile, I can get other things done like eating, washing dishes, etc- relatively quiet, like a phone vibration- battery lasts all day for me, I pump 5x 18-20 min a session, then charge at end of day- pretty easy to clean, only 4 parts (I use the nanobebe electric brush and it makes it quick)CONS:- some things are still difficult but not impossible to do, like holding & feeding baby, and bending over can cause potential leakage- placement on breasts takes some getting used to because it’s difficult to see in the little placement hole (I found this much easier with a bra that has a clip to come down so there’s more light coming through the sides over a sport bra)- takes some practice pouring and getting all the milk out- parts need to be completely dry when assembling which can be difficult washing & pumping every 3-4 hours- when pump switches from stimulation mode to expression mode automatically, it goes back to the middle suction setting, even if you’ve turned it up during expression. I believe this can be changed in the app but it’s pretty annoying there’s no manual way to set thisTIPS:- I use the fridge hack and keep the pump parts (assembled but obvs without the motor) in a covered container in the fridge between pumps, then wash my pump at the end of the day. Expressed milk can technically be left out 4 hours, and my 5x pumping at 20 minutes brings me to around 2 hours of the milk being at room temp, so I’m satisfied with that. Not everyone is comfortable doing this (it’s recommended to wash after each use) and I wouldn’t do this if baby were sick and only started doing this after our baby turned 4 months. It does mean that I put on the cups cold, which is not that pleasant, but I prefer it to washing.- To get all the milk out, Elvie has a video taking the pump apart and pouring the remaining milk out that was stuck in the diaphragm. Since I do the fridge hack, I am not taking the pump apart. Instead after doing the initial pour, I make a pumping motion on the diaphragm (basically the same motion the pump makes – see image) to get the milk to come out, then I pour out the rest.

    Great for hands free pumping.
I have tried a few different pumps, spectra, motif Aura, medela manula and this.Spectra is good but bulky, Motif Aura didn’t work well for me.This one is my favorite when I am not able to sit and use my manual Medela hand pump as that one is my top choice. It’s under $30 and works better than any other pump but with kids it’s not always an option to use.Pros: fits in bra and can move around house with kids while pumping even with the hose connector. Hospital strength and works well to remove milk fully. Fairly quite but still noticable. Easy to clean.Cons: cost is pricy. They have leaked on me if they accidentally shift and come un-suctioned during pumping as this cause the diaphragm to break the seal and then leak. This can mostly be avoided (no major movements and turn off before shifting on nipple), however, if it does happen it is extremely annoying to deal with and often not noticeable until milk is running down your shirt. There are 4 main parts to clean to each cup and assemble and they must be completely dry to seal or they will leak. I have to pump once or twice a day so this is not an issue for me. If you are an exclusive pumper, this could be a very annoying item to deal with without buying multiple parts. It also is annoying if they leak mid pump because then it’s wet and won’t seal again until gaskets are completly dry.I do recommend this pump but just consider what would work best for your life style.I have wonder if the pump might be useable with different cups somehow because the motor itself is very powerful and works well yet to figure that out.

Product itself is great, but elvie policy is very discriminatory as they don’t go below 21mm. Women’s breast come in different sizes, but for some reason elvie doesn’t care about Women with smaller breast and doesn’t want to manufacture Product for them. They said to use 21, which doesn’t work at all. Spent 30 min and got 30ml only and with 17mm got 70mm in same time. Would be good if manufacturer would understand that literally one size doesn’t not fit all.

Bought based on reviews, Elvie definitely has the quietest breast pumps. I am awaiting delivery to test the efficacy of this hospital grade stride.

Stopped working after 2 weeks of use. And, return period is over. Very unpleasant quality with such high cost
