Light weight but still sturdy and lots of fun.
Great little light weight balance bike. I have purchased two of them now, very quick to assemble and my kids had fun helping me put it together and place the stickers. Very lightweight but still feels robust. So when the little ones fall over they can easily lift the bike off of themselves.Works well on dirt and gravel as well as paved roads and cement, once they get the balance down they will be hitting the hills!Also I weigh about 195 lbs and I have ridden the bike to show my kids, they thought it was funny. But the little bike held me and rolled no problem.

Bought this for my big two year old, on his birthday. We needed the lowering kit for him to be flat footed for the first two or three weeks. The lowering kit slackens the head tube angle and made the steering a little squirrelly. He could walk all over our property, grass, gravel road, dirt, hills, but balancing with the lowering kit seemed more difficult. At six weeks he started really balancing and speeding down small hills on our gravel road yelling “weeee.” We love the tires on this bike, as our son is mainly on gravel or grass. We recommend this bike to friends.

Daughter loves her FirstBIKE!
Got a good deal on this bike back in April 2014 on Amazon for $112 plus tax, free shipping; original retail for the cross bike is $160. My 2 yr old daughter was too short for it so I bought and installed a lowering kit for it. Two and a half months later and she’s now starting to “fit” the bike. She officially rode it outdoors at the park last week and I would say it’s still a tad bit big for her but she loves it.

We are very pleased with this bike purchase for our son’s second birthday present. He just needs to grow a few more inches in order to use it. My husband found it extremely easy to put together and it seems to be a very sturdy bike. We opted not to put on the stickers that were included as I felt they were a bit tacky. Love it and would buy again!

My son got this bike when he could not touch with both feet. It took him about a week to figure out how to walk himself around on it but after that he was a natural. It’s been about 1.5 years and hes now a little over 3 years old and only touches the ground to go faster. Awesome way to learn to balance.
