    Excellent for a party favor!
I got this for an hastily put together birthday party for my wife. She had to work on her birthday but I was able to sneak and put together a surprise party the next day. She loves animals and Lego type sets. She absolutely loved these, as did the guests who received them as party favors. The instructions are very basic and require attention to detail. That and the very small parts may make these unsuitable for very young children but for 9 and up they were a hit for us!Also the box turns into a display like you wold find in a store so it looked very good sitting on her birthday table.

    Terrific tiny toys
Great gifts for a class or party!

Hard to build in just the right way.
I purchased this to share with students in a college course. I wanted them to build something worthwhile (cute animal), but experience frustration with the instructions. I wanted them to think about how they felt and how they would create their own instructions. I selected these based on reviews. it worked beautifully. One box included no instructions whatsoever. Two were missing a piece or two (but not a big deal). All had extra pieces. One had instructions using black bricks and black lines to denote the individual pieces. Instructions were complicated, but doable. Animals were adorable. Took about 20 minutes. I never did figure out how to make my ostrich stand correctly, but it makes it all the more endearing.

    Great fun!
My grandson had a fabulous time building these!

    Teambuilding activity
I bought these for a team building event. The overwhelming feeling was they were a lot harder than they appeared at first. Directions were hard but we did finish, and they enjoyed the activity.

    Such perfect small gifts
My son is 12 and loves building these mini figures more than Legos right now.Buying them in bulk like this is SO much cheaper than buying in stores/museums/zoos.They’re always so cute when they’re done and provide hours of entertainment. These are VERY tiny parts so I would not suggest this for young children. They come in a cute little box so it’s very easy to wrap and gift. The instructions are definitely for children 10 and up though. Not as step by step as legos but still easy.

    So incredibly tiny
I ordered this set for my son’s birthday party. There was a variety of kids ages that were invited to the party. I set up a Lego table for the kids who came to the party. Before the party I set the boxes out on a table. The packaging was very nice. But once the kids started to arrive and open the boxes I was astonished at how incredibly small the Lego pieces were. The kids could not put the kits together and got very frustrated. I have several boxes not even opened because the kids couldn’t put them together. Whatever was left over I was going to let the kids take them home but no one wanted the kits!! Highly disappointed with this product!

Fun for kids of all ages
I put these into Easter baskets for my college and adult age kids, nieces and nephews- they were a HUGE hit Easter morning. Not only did everyone sit together over coffee building their animal but they used all the extra pieces provided to make a “baby animal” for each one. It was awesome. Way more bang for the buck than expected, especially for a demographic that’s notoriously hard to buy for.
