Update: August 26, 2025My daughter is 6 (will be 7 in 3 months) and the set is still in excellent shape. She places with it a ton and sometimes moves the pieces around to the Calico Critters Hopscotch House. Not everything fits in the Hopscotch House because it’s much smaller than her big dollhouse, but I like that it will work. Nothing has broken yet and I have a daughter that is always playing pretend so they get USED! That said, she is easy on her things. Still love the set and the value and I would still recommend!!This review is going to be as detailed as I can. I searched and searched online for thorough reviews with pictures and although I got nuggets of information, it wasn’t what I was looking for. I’m going to include as many pictures as Amazon allows for reviews. I hope this is helpful!We have the Tender Leaf Dovetail dollhouse and I bought this set of furniture for it. The Tender Leaf dollhouse furniture is beautiful, but spending $30-50 per “room” is not something I’m going to do. $40 for all the rooms is a great price! I was looking for furniture that was neutral and modern…basically I wanted it to look pretty with my daughter’s dollhouse.Figurines used for demonstration/ scale: Adult, child, and baby calico critters, Fisher Price Little People, and Tender Leaf wooden doll family. The Tender Leaf wooden dolls are the same size and style as the Hape and Pottery Barn wooden dolls. If you like the style of the included dolls, but don’t like the look, Le Toy Van makes similar dolls (same size too), but they aren’t creepy looking.Living room – The calico critters and wooden dolls are able to sit on the couch. The wooden doll can’t actually “sit” on the couch…it needs to be propped up a bit, but it seems to stay once propped as long as it’s not bumped. The adult badger calico critter seems to sit just fine. The TV screen is black with a small amount of gray sweeps across the black screen. The rectangle storage unit is actually two pieces so you can style them however you want…maybe you’re crafty and lay them down then cut foam and fabric for a charming day bed, or extra seating. The fireplace is a lovely addition and I appreciate the coffee table.Kitchen and Dining area – The oven and under the sink cabinet were a bit snug to open at first (my 4 y.o. needed help) and although they have “loosened” up with some use, I wouldn’t say they open with ease either. The fridge opens… actually the freezer and refrigerator open and each have a little shelf for storing itty bitty foods (love that!) The dining area seems fine for all tested figurines. At the table sitting is adult cat calico critter, Fisher Price Little People, and a propped up child wooden doll. The baby bunny calico critter doesn’t really fit in the high chair, although my daughter was able to make it work. Fisher Price Little People will not fit in the high chair. Wooden child doll, adult calico critter, and Fisher Price Little People are standing by the table and chairs for scale.Bathroom – The toilet seat opens and adult badger calico critter is able to sit without falling. The tub works for all…the adult calico critters and wooden dolls are a bit tall so they do stick out some, but that doesn’t seem to bother my child. The shower works for all figurines too. Again, the adult calico critter and wooden doll are too tall for the shower head, but we just lean them near the wall and move them around during the “shower.” The step stool for the sink is a nice touch. The Fisher Price Little People did have trouble balancing, but as you can see from the picture he was able to stand.Bedroom – The wardrobe/ armoire open easily. The night stand drawers also open with ease. The bed works for all. Some adult calico critters are a bit tall so their feet (paws?) hang off the bed a small amount. The adult wooden doll is longer than the bed and her feet also hang off a good bit, but again it doesn’t seem to be an issue. I do wish the bed came with fabric for a blanket, but I can easily cut some scrap fabric to make one.Nursery – The dresser drawers open easily. I love that the crib has a mobile- nice attention to detail! Baby calico critters fit in the crib and some child calico critters fit too. Fisher Price Little People do not fit in the crib. The rocking horse is cute. Only a few baby calico critters can fit/ sit independently on it…the ones that came with a seesaw or slide so they’ve been made in that sitting position (forgot to take pictures.) The tent works well for the baby calico critters to sit underneath, but the child calico critters and Fisher Price Little People are too tall for the tent…when I put them underneath the tent no longer touched the floor. Scale pictures included using figurines. We added the calico critters baby slide and seesaw to the nursery.Included Dolls – These dolls are horrendous; they are absolutely outrageous and frightening. I opened the box when my child wasn’t around and I actually threw them in the trash. Perhaps the brand should consider replacing them with more aesthetically pleasing dolls or just not include them anymore (and then reduce the price.) Again, if you like the style of the included dolls, but don’t like the look, Le Toy Van makes similar dolls (same size too), but they aren’t creepy looking.Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase. Even though I tossed the included dolls, I would still recommend this furniture set and I would repurchase as a gift. $40 is a steal for the amount of things you get, the neutral colorway, and the quality is decent enough that my 4 year old can play with it without issues.

Several rooms of furniture: Kitchen, living room with fireplace, bathroom, parents room, and babies room. Made of solid wood with painted details. Drawers and cupboards open and close. Great little details, like the fireplace, TV, and teepee.There’s a Dad, Mom, Big Brother, and baby sister.There is No bed for big brother!The story my granddaughter and I play is, Brother is home from college. His old room was converted to the nursery after Surprise Baby Sister showed up! Now he’s sleeping on the sofa, but Mom still cooks for him!!

One piece broken
Not super great quality, but it will be sufficient for a 3 year old’s dollhouse. One of the pieces came broken, so I had to glue it.

Die Möbel sehen richtig gut aus! Besonders die Farben gefallen mir sehr gut. Alles ist robust und halten viel aus. Die Grösse ist perfekt für ein klassisches Puppenhaus.
