So, this thing was available on a lightning deal, and, on a whim, I picked it up for just a little bit over $15. I didn’t really expect much, considering that it had a fair number of low reviews. But it was relatively cheap, so I figured that I’d give it a try. (After I had checked out, I was kind of worried that I had made a mistake). I was actually really surprised when it came! The effect in my baby boy’s room is REALLY cool! We set the timer so that it stays on all night, so it serves as a nightlight for when we have to wake up in the middle of the night to feed him. I was really surprised at how much my boy likes it, too! We’ve had it a couple of months, now, and he still loves to watch the lights on the walls and ceiling. In fact, he likes watching them so much that it has often served to distract him from crying and forget about whatever it was that was upsetting him. I do see that some other reviews had problems with its reliability, but I have not, so far. I’ve had no problems with it at all. I hope that it DOES last, because it’s served our needs very well, so far! But, at this point, I’d probably buy another, if it come up on another discounted deal. I think that it would look really cool to have another one set up on the other side of the room, running simultaneously (and, in case this one breaks!)

I bought this for my son for his birthday. We have cats and we both have nightlights so we don’t step on them if we get up in the middle of the night. This is absolutely perfect for him! Mine like this has lasted years so I know this one will too. The pictures are clear and not distorted like on some cheaper models. And the pictures are so cute! The fact it has Bluetooth capabilities is an awesome feature. I have added his phone to it and set his morning school alarm. He has to get up to turn it off since his phone stays with me at night. It’s a great way to make sure he gets up! All in all, itxs a great product. The price isn’t too bad either.

The timer function is frustrating
UPDATE: we’ve had this for a few months and it’s progressively gotten slower to turn and very loud. Not super impressed with this purchase and not sure I’d recommend considering the price.There is no option to just turn on the light. You have to set a timer, which is just a slight inconvenience. Product arrived with the clear plastic piece shattered but we weren’t planning on using it anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. Great size, doesn’t take up much room. So many different color combinations you can play around with and our son loves picking out his color for the night. There’s even an option that we call the “club” setting because the lights will fade in and out and strobe. No remote included. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Good for kids
There aren’t any instructions so I was very disappointed when we first plunged it in and there weren’t any stars on the ceilings or walls. It was kind of faded shadows, but the lamp was pretty. Leave it to an 8 year old to take things apart, and he discovered that the egg shape is removable. The stars now shine everywhere in the room. You have a good combo of colors white, blue, red and a combo of colors. I like that you can set the timer at 5 minute intervals to receive a time that is good for your child to go to sleep. However, I also purchased this as a “panic” light for when my son was super scared. I wanted him to hit a button and turn it on while I came to his room. It does not work that way. First you turn on power, then you set the time, then you turn on the light. Not good for a panic situation. My son can use it, but not when he’s had a bad dream. Otherwise, I really like the light.

I thought our first light that we bought was broken because it fell off our sons bed a couple of times so I bought another one but no unfortunately these are poorly built. The brand new light that just got delivered today just turns off when I try to turn on the multicolored light option. The new and old light both turn off if I move even just a little bit so it’s a fight to even just turn the light on. As much as my son loves the marvel characters, I will unfortunately not be buying a third light.

I ordered the unicorn projector version and got a stars and some other random shape version. My 3 year old still loves it but I was disappointed that it was not as described.

So easy to use and very effective
My son is 9 and we needed a nightlight. He doesn’t do the dark due to some issues we have had. So we needed a nightlight. the ones that plug in and sit against the wall, wouldn’t work because there isn’t a spot where it would shine. I was worried that it would seem babyish and he wouldn’t like it. However, he thinks it’s cool. It has a still mode or a spin mode. He loves it on spin mode and it spins around the room. The timer is great because I can set it and know it will turn off on it’s own and not run all night long. He also loves that he can change the colors of the stars. His current favorite is the blue, green, and white star combo. But it has color combos that will work for the fourth of July and Christmas and he is excited to do those during the holidays. This was an excellent choice, it easy to use and does better than what I expected. It’s also not super bright, so it help him sleep.

we had this product and ended up returning it since it was very poorly made. The lights did not go on the walls and ceiling as advertised. We used it in a very small room, blacked out and it didn’t do much!

Little one lovrs the light. Used it only with batteries, (comes with a charge/power cord aswell) when set to a reasonable time limit, batteries will last for a few weeks. Obviously as they start to die down the brightness will too.Top dome comes of easily and there are many different coloured lights that be stationary or rotate.
