Great sensory tubes
These are great for my preschoolers! I filled them with jingle bells at Christmas time and pinecones too. I love that I can used the capped end for liquids and the ends with holes so they can smell what’s inside if I have cinnamon sticks coffee beans, or any other type of scented items!

This is fun for both me and my toddler granddaughter! I look for colorful, interesting things to put in the tubes (jingle bells, sea shells, large colored beads, quiet pom moms, little balls of colored yarn) and they can be swapped out in a jiffy if the thrill wears out. She can see how the screw-on lid works, but she doesn’t have the strength or motor skill to open it herself. Good toy to stimulate curiosity and the senses. Quiet or as noisy as you make it.

Not Clear
My only complaint is that they are not clear. They have a somewhat cloudy look to them. You can still see the items inside, but it’s not perfectly clear like I expected. When I looked at other review photos, one looked clear and one looked cloudy. I thought it was the light giving it the cloudy look. It was not. Other than that, I am happy with them.They are hard plastic with colorful ends that are not easily removed by little hands. It comes with a solid lid on one end and one with holes on the other. There is set of matching solid color lids that you can use.

This was a birthday gift for my great great niece who turned two. Her mother loved it and she loved playing with it. Great learning toy.

Keeps them interested
My 8 month old loves these and I have fun finding new things to put inside. They’re supposed to be waterproof, I will say that some of the lids are hit-and-miss when it comes to leaking. I have one that’s had water in it for over two weeks and it hasn’t been a problem but I had to try a couple of different lids before I found two that didn’t leak. Overall they’re great way for little ones to play with small objects safely.

These sensory tubes are AMAZING. Even though the measurements are in the description they are still much bigger than I thought. My 4 year old got to work right away making fun, loud, visually pleasing sensory tubes for his brother, my 7 month old! We put all sorts of things in them and they held up great… didn’t scratch the plastic. They made an awesome noise! I have zero complaints!I’d love to see them in a smaller size though. They are huge which is great, but I think a smaller size would be more ideal for toddlers. To offer this product in two sizes would be amazing. Still very pleased with this product, my kids are too!

Description, not clear
I ordered these sensory tubes thinking that they were already filled. Once they arrived, I did not feel that they would be sturdy enough for our toddlers and I thought they might open and spill contents so I returned.

Ich habe die Entdeckerröhren für meine Tochter gekauft, weil ich die Idee super fand. Ich habe sie auch direkt mit unterschiedlichen Materialien befüllt. Leider sind die Röhren, zumindest in meiner Ausführung, trotz mehrfach überprüftem Verschluss und Probieren nicht dicht, sodass sie für den Zweck unbrauchbar sind. Darf meiner Meinung nach für den Preis nicht passieren. Schade!

Really good resource to make for children. I work in a nursery and we use these all the time but because we bought them from an educational catalogue they were almost double the price. So really good value for money.You can fill these with all different items depending on the age of the child, I’ve filled mine with glitter, Pom Poms, buttons and bells and as my little one gets older I will use the other lids and put sented items in such as cinnamon sticks so they can experience different sense.
