My 5-6 year old nephew and nieces play with this when they come over and they enjoy playing with it and reading the little book that comes with it. It’s a fun activity to do together as they usually have questions about why things move the way they do and we usually initiate and ask them to hypothesize or predict what will happen.

Fun science kit
We own many other toys and learning materials from this brand, and am always impressed with the quality and thought that goes into their products. I used this science kit with my 8 year old, and he was able to do all of the experiments with some adult help. This kit utilizes a super hero theme and allows the user to apply STEM skills while exploring concepts such as magnetism, measuring, vacuums, observation, etc. You will need a few household supplies to do most of the experiments, so make sure to look at the instructions prior to starting.Overall, this was a fun experience.

Fun Way to Learn for Our Superhero Grandson, STEM Science
I’m reviewing Learning Resources STEM Explorers Superhero Science!, 21 Pieces, Ages 6+, Science Kit.I’ve had great experiences with Learning Resources products ,and this Superhero Science kit fits right into their fun educational product line.Our 5 year old grandson adores pretending to be a superhero, so this is perfect for him. Because he’s so interested, the lessons learned will stick with him. I’ve found that’s the best way to learn. It has everything I need to teach him about color mixing, vacuum chambers, magnets that levitate and more.The kit includes a child friendly comic book experiment guide that helps make learning fun.I find the current price of $24.99 to be reasonable.As a side note, this Learning Resources STEM Explorers Superhero Science! Kit is made in China.

Great for your kids learning and mind development. Would buy again

Anche questa volta Learning Resources ha creato un kit stupendo, che permette a bambini e non di scoprire la scienza attraverso lo stupore, racconti avvincenti, tanta gioia e sorrisi.Lo sto utilizzando con bambini di 6/7 anni ed è bellissimo vedere i loro occhi brillare quando riescono a far fluttare magneti, ingrandire e rimpicciolire marshmellow (con lo strumento del sottovuoto), far apparire parole prima nascoste…il tutto guidato da un bel manuale di accompagnamento fatto sotto forma di fumetto che narra la storia di piccoli super eroi. Anche il libretto è di una carta quasi plastificata, brillante e resistente, però scritto in inglese (che immagino possa essere un limite per gran parte dell’utenza), nel mio caso leggendolo lo traduco ai bambini più piccoli, e con i più grandi può essere una sfida per apprendere nuovi termini, e migliorare o consolidare una nuova lingua.

Learning Resources Science KitI have had a few educational toys from this company and they have always been good quality. This one is no exception, the components are colourful and good quality and it comes with an engaging super hero themed instruction book. The only word of warning is that you do need to buy additional items for some of the experiments. You will need items such as sugar, soap, marshmallows and tissue paper so probably stuff you’d have around the house anyway but worth checking as it can be quite frustrating not having the items that you need. The instructions are pretty easy to follow and my 6 year old grandson managed to conduct most of the experiments without help. He thoroughly enjoyed doing them, especially the one involving the marshmallow in a vacuum chamber lol I suspect some of that was the fact that he could eat the rest of the marshmallows but there we go lol. All in all this is a good set, very engaging and it seems good value for money.
