Great for learning motorskills
I purchased this for my sons. They absolutely love to play with these! They are magnetic as to help them while building. Makes it easier so they don’t work really hard and something minor knock all their work over. My kids are rough with toys too and these have absolutely passed the kids test! Super durable and cute! 10 out of 10! My kids love them! So worth the money!

Nice magnetic set for young kids
This is a very nice magnetic building set for young kids. This set comes with four different piece types: a curved piece, a magnetic ball, short straight piece, and long straight piece. The magnetic pieces are very strong and hold together quite well. I found it very easy to build with these magnetic pieces. The pieces are nice and chunky, easy for a small child to hold and snap together. There are also eight pieces that light up. These pieces are very cool, the lights are nice and bright and they all change colors slowly, fading from one color to another. These are super fun, I wish more of these pieces would light up because of how great they look. There is also a fun book of ideas for kids to try to make different builds. I really like this because it shows kids what they can build with these blocks, especially if they are having trouble getting started. I do wish there where more pieces, though. It would be great to build several projects at once or have multiple kids play with this set at the same time. There is enough pieces for one child to have a lot of fun, if you want more kids to play then you will have to get a bigger set. So overall, this is a pretty fun magnetic building set. The pieces are strong and snap together very well. The lighted bricks are also a fun idea and add another dimension to these builds. If you are looking for a nice magnetic build set for a young child, I would definitely recommend this set.

Really cool! Bigger than I expected.
Wow these are neat! I got these as a gift for my sn son and I just know he will love them! The magnetic sticks attach to each of the metal balls (not to each other) and you can make all different designs per the small booklet that came with it.The coolest part is the lights! They not only light up but they change color. Really cool! One of the pieces did not have the plastic tag inserted between the batteries so it seems to have lost some juice. I like that the batteries appear to all be replaceable tho (screw on cover), so thats another plus. I did think these were quite small like Legos, however they are much larger. See my video.Overall though I think they will be a hit , the added lighting really adds a coolness factor!

Fun set but lacking balls
No, really, there’s not enough balls for some of the potential builds you might make with this set. It would be great if some were sold separately so you could add specific pieces you need. The pieces do light up, but not all of them and they don’t illuminate neighboring pieces. It’s still a fun little set for kids if you have any that enjoy magnetic building sets. They’ll be ecstatic to get this. What is nice is the included pouch for keeping everything together when you’re not playing with them. A booklet with different ideas of what you can make with them is also included and I can see kids having fun trying to build them.

What kid doesn’t like things that light up?! And when you add a little bit of education to the mix, you have a winner! This is a fun mix of the two. There’s a lot of creative designs that can be made and countless designs that are open to your imagination. The magnets attach well to one another. Bonus: if the lights in the pieces go out, they’re still colored and fun.

great for all ages
Upon receiving these, I was surprised at how big the pieces were. That being said, they are absolutely a hit with all my children from ages 4-9. They seem very durable, I do not have to worry about any magnets falling out. The balls are metal, so all the magnets stick to them. Only some of the pieces light up, the lights change colors in time, super cool. I love that you can play with these in a dark room and is a quiet toy. The possibilities are endless when building with these. Great gift.

Some of the rods have battery-powered LED lights in them
This is a 52 piece set of relatively big magnetic rod-and-ball building sticks. A small number of the rods have batteries in them, and you can push the power button to light up the LEDs in the stick. I don’t think the batteries are replaceable. I have a similar stick building set that my then 2-year-old niece wanted to play with, which I had to hide because the balls were too small. This is suitable for 3+ years old and will probably interest her.
