    Educational and fun
We got this for a little space loving 8 year old birthday boy. He was thrilled. Easy to put it together and educational which adds to the functionality of it. It encourages learning while it’s on his nightstand and was really reasonably priced. The aesthetic and quality is a plus too. Very pleased.

    Fun
It was easy for my son to put together. It’s a sturdy replica of the solar system. It is a good item to help homeschoolers when they are on assignments about space and the planets.

    Would buy again
Grandson loves it. It’s plastic and as you can tell by the pictures, you can’t be rough with it. Educational and fun for him. He’s 6

Fun model but a bit small
I purchased this kit as a supplement to our summer vacation study about space. My daughter loves learning about the planets, and she loves art and crafts. We worked on this together one afternoon. We chose to use some acrylic paint pens I’d purchased for another project instead of the provided paint. The pens made it very easy to create the details on the planets. The model was a bit smaller than I anticipated, so it was a little difficult to paint. But we enjoyed working on it together, and we were able to spend some time talking about arranging the planets.

    Easy to work with
It was cool. It helped my kid get it out an a on his project in school

    Planets display
Gift for 5 year old. Great size and distinction between planets and reasonably priced.

    Expected better quality
Stickers came ruined, planets did not fit on posts. Everything we have ever bought from National Geographic has been just average or below. You would think with such a recognizable brand name products would be better. This is a very small system but worked for us. A little hard to paint because of sizeSome planets did not snap together right

Something parent and child can do together…
Anything that National Geographic does is wonderful, especially for kids
