Soft material, delivered quickly. Bought this for my maltipoo dog, I thought it looked cool and would keep his little furry head warm. He wasn’t wild about it at first but now he thinks he’s a gangster straight from the mean streets of Detroit. He won’t take it off even when he’s bathing. He’s also now sagging his little doggie pants below his tail and insists on wife beater shirts. He started bullying the neighbors cat and is hanging out in questionable parts of the yard. He picks fights with the guinea pigs and barks at the old lady next door. Be careful if you get this for your puppy, he might think he’s the newest member of the aryan brotherhood.

Well made, but fabric not very stretchy
I bought these just before my son’s 2 month birthday, because the other reviews I saw suggested that the hats fit their children from newborn up to around 4 and a half months. My little one was born 3 weeks early and is quite small, so I figured that the hats would probably fit him for 2 or maybe 3 more months. (He is only just over 9 pounds at 2 months old.)Sadly, the fabric for the hats doesn’t have much stretch to them, so they only just barely fit him. To the seller’s credit, they were listed as *newborn* hats, but the listing also suggested 0-6 months, and a fair amount of stretch. I think they would do well for babies 8 pounds and under, but not for long. I washed them all (by hand and in warm water, not hot, as I didn’t want to shrink them) before putting them on him when they arrived, so I can’t send them back, but I hope to gift them to a friend who will have a newborn baby in February, as they are well made and look nice. (Hence 4 stars.)
