Great Wipes for Sensitive Skin – Packaging Just Needs a Boost
We love Pura wipes. They’re gentle, fragrance-free, and perfect for my son’s eczema-prone skin. They’re durable, moist (but not overly wet), and don’t leave behind any weird residue. I feel good using them on both diaper changes and messy hands or faces.The only downside? The packaging. Like many brands, the resealable sticker flap doesn’t always stay stuck, especially as the pack gets low. But I’ve found a great solution: I remove the sticker entirely and stick on a one-touch wipes lid from daiso, and it’s been a gem. Makes opening and closing with one hand easy and keeps the wipes from drying out.Overall, the wipes themselves are excellent, and the packaging is fixable, definitely a s&s buy for us.

Good wipes, bad package
The product gets a five-star rating for being gentle on my skin and fragrance-free. The packaging gets a one-star rating. As many reviewers have noted, it’s difficult to remove just one wipe; pull one and a whole stack comes along. The opening ripped open wide when I first opened it. I really appreciate that they ditched the hard plastic opening used with most other brands’ wipes. However, someone really needs to innovate this packaging in another way that’s plastic-free. Until then, I recommend storing the product upside down to ensure it stays closed and the wipes don’t dry out.

Thin wipes but they work!
I love that these are healthier and don’t have chemicals. They are hard to get out of the package, though, and the package doesn’t have a great seal to keep it shut, just a sticky tab. They are also thinner than other wipes I’ve used, but they stay moist and get the job done!

Great on sensitive new skin. Does smell a little like hydrogen peroxide and sugar? Not a great smell but not bad either. Just weird.

These wipes are pretty good but not great. They are great for nontoxic ingredients and price. They are quite thin, but that doesn’t seem to affect how sturdy they are or their effectiveness. I think they are a little dry and rough compared to other wipes. They stick together so pulling out less then 5 at a time is impossible. They are cheaper than other brands that have nontoxic ingredients but I think it’s worth the extra money to upgrade to a better wipe.

Worst wipes I’ve ever used
These are the worst wipes I’ve used.I purchased them because I liked Pura’s ingredient list better than most other options and the price point was fair.However, these wipes are thin, super abrasive, and have an unpleasant scent. Because of how thin they are, I have to fold them in half to make them thick enough to even be usable. Doing so made me use them up way more quickly (so there goes the price point factor) and the abrasiveness irritated my baby’s bum.These wipes also are not at all one-hand friendly, which is an absolute “no” for diaper changes. When you try to pull out a wipe, the whole entire package tries to come along with it. You need two hands to get a wipe out of the package.It is also worth mentioning that the packaging is also poor. The plastic sticker does not stay well on the package at all, which makes for dried-out wipes.Pura wipes at their best could be used to wipe spit-up from clothes or the floor, but I won’t be purchasing these to struggle pulling a wipe from a package I can’t reseal, just to irritate my baby’s skin.

Decent wipes hamstrung by packing
These wipes are durable and able to clean up a normal every day mess. The skin feels clean after being used, while not feeling overly dried out. The wipes a little thin but do an ample job.However when the wipes are removed from the packaging it is difficult to remove a single wipe and it is also challenging to return the excess wipes. This leads to excessive use and for a green company it is causing over consumption.
