HIGH CHAIR – The Tripp Trapp High Chair 2 was designed to bring your baby right up to the table, where they can learn & develop alongside the rest of the family. It includes the Tripp Trapp Chair and the Baby Set, which is best for ages 6-36 months.
A CHAIR FOR LIFE – Once your child outgrows the Baby Set, simply remove it. The Chair features adjustable seat & foot plates, so you can position each at a comfortable, ergonomic angle, well into adulthood.
STURDY & SAFE – This solid, beech wood chair can hold up to 300 lbs. Plus, the High Chair comes with gliders for additional stability.
EASY TO USE – With a tool-free design, the Baby Set is easy to attach to the Chair. We also completely redesigned the five-point harness, making it easier to attach to the Baby Set, easier to adjust, and easier to take off your child.
DESIGN WITH A PURPOSE – Tripp Trapp was designed by Peter Opsvik in 1972. Inspired by his young son Tor, who had grown out of his high chair but was still too small for an adult chair, Peter aimed to seat all ages at the same table comfortably.

Great adjustable chair, very stable — but expensive and accessories add up
This is definitely the incontournable children’s chair. Even though I’m not a huge fan of the design personally, I haven’t found anything else that’s as adjustable and long-lasting. We mainly chose it because it comes in full white, and our kitchen and dining area are entirely white — so this was one of the only brands offering a look that matched our home. It’s definitely expensive for what it is, especially considering that several competitors offer the same overall functionality at half the price. And you have to buy most accessories separately, which raises the cost even more. We actually bought many of the accessories second-hand (or compatible versions), because the official ones are honestly very pricey. On the positive side, the chair is very stable. It’s a bit heavy, but that’s also what makes it safe and sturdy. One thing I really like is the footrest — many high chairs leave children’s legs hanging, which is uncomfortable and not great for posture. Here, my baby is clearly more comfortable because he can rest his feet properly.Another small bonus: on some websites you can find custom embroidered cushions made specifically for this chair. That was a nice touch, and not something you get with more generic brands. We’ve used this chair since my baby was born because we also had the newborn insert. It worked well, but again, the accessories add up quickly, so second-hand or alternative brands are good options.Final verdict:Very stable, highly adjustable, and matches beautifully in neutral homes — but be prepared for the price of both the chair and the accessories. Great for long-term use, and my baby is comfortable thanks to the foot support.

The High Chair That Grows With Your Child
The Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair 2 is hands-down one of the best investments we’ve made for our child. From the moment we set it up, it was clear this chair is built to last—solid wood construction, sleek design, and incredible adjustability. It fits right up to the table, which makes mealtime feel more inclusive and helps foster independence.Assembly was straightforward, and the chair feels extremely stable. We love that it grows with our child—from infant to toddler and beyond—thanks to the adjustable seat and footrest. It’s not just a high chair; it’s a long-term seating solution. The finish is easy to clean, and it still looks brand new after months of daily use.If you’re looking for a stylish, ergonomic, and durable high chair that blends into your home and supports your child’s development, the Tripp Trapp is worth every penny.

Worth the splurge!
I had known that this was the high chair I wanted for my kids before I was even pregnant. I love the way it looks and as a former Montessori teacher, wanted something that my kids could independently climb into to have a family meal at the dinner table. However, when I had a baby, I didn’t originally buy it because money was tight and I couldn’t find any second-hand. I ended up getting a Hauck and honestly didn’t like it (the bumper bar made it almost impossible to get my chunky baby in and out, it didn’t look as nice, the paint was chipping and peeling off, and it was super hard to clean). I ended up deciding to get this one with nothing but the baby attachments (because it’s just so expensive with the tray and everything). It has been completely worth it!! It looks beautiful and is easy to clean! It’s durable. None of the paint has chipped or peeled. It looks much higher quality than the Hauck or any plastic high chair and just feels so chic. It’s a real piece of furniture, which I think babies deserve to have when possible. It scoots right up to the table so that my baby can eat with me. I love it!! Also, I think it was a good investment because the ones that I’ve seen second-hand were able to be sold for almost the full price they were bought for. I’ve also heard of a lot of people not wanting to give up their Tripp Trapps because they love them so much and even using them as a desk chair as an adult or reusing them for their own kids and grandkids. It is my favorite baby item that I have bought.

Very ergonomic high chair
This high chair is a great investment. It was very easy to install and only took me about 15 minutes to put everything together. The design is simple but smart, and it feels very sturdy. The serene pink color is soft and pretty, and the materials are high quality. It fits well in our dining space and doesn’t feel bulky at all. What I love most is how ergonomic and adjustable it is. The seat and footrest can be moved to match my baby’s growth, and the harness keeps her safe and secure. It is also really easy to clean, which is a huge plus for daily use. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a stylish and practical high chair.

Sturdy, good design. Straps can be improved.
Love the idea of a chair that grows with the kid. Overall happy with the purchase but a couple minor things- the baby seat attachment is really tight to put a baby in, and my kid is on the small side.- I wish the straps attached to the wooden part instead so they can sit without the plastic attachment and still be strapped in- also wish the straps were removable to be washedThose things aside, very sturdy chair, nice design and works aesthetically with my space.
