I bought this for my niece (age 29) for the holidays, and I wanted to test it myself before sending it so I could return it if it wasn’t okay. It really works! The face flips from gingerbread to elf and looks fine either way. It’s also very soft.Needless to say, she likes the Kuromi character a lot. (Why would I get this for her if she didn’t?) I can’t afford presents for everyone this year, just homemade cookies. But of all my relatives she’s the nicest to me, so along with her cookies I’ll be sending her this gingerbread Kuromi and a couple other small Kuromi gifts. (Shhhh; don’t tell!)
