3rd one, cute but stopped working
I’ve purchased 3 of these now. They’re cheap and my daughters favorite, so I keep buying them when they die. This one has already died again, so I switched to a new night light. They tend to last about 6 months. Each of them seemed to have a short in the wires.

Beautiful little light, but not sturdy
I bought this for my 9-year old son. It’s a beautiful light and projects lovely colored stars on the walls and ceiling. I bought the light for his birthday, and it worked perfectly at first, but within minutes, the colored lights quit working. Bummer–it was a birthday gift. However, it’s a pretty light-weight plastic thing and it was kinda cheap. It has a hard plastic cover over the star dome, but the star dome itself feels like soft, flexible polystyrene (like those clear plastic cups that collapse and crack if you squeeze them too hard). So I did a return with Amazon and received the new lamp within days. The new lamp works just right, and I assume the first one was a fluke. It happens, especially with cheap stuff with LED lamps. So I’m happy with the nightlight, but am giving it 4 stars only because there are obviously some workmanship issues with the product. I’m happy Amazon was cool about the free return, though. (I’m a Prime customer, so returns aren’t too much trouble).

Kind of a dud
After reading most of the reviews and seeing the pictures I thought this thing would be cool, but got to be honest here- it’s kinda meh. The battery life sucks mine only lasted 3 days before it started going dim. then the stars fade out and most of the colors can’t be seen besides the red and green. the rotation mode is hardly effective once it get’s to that point and it only works well if it’s plugged into a port. woulden’t really recommend this lamp since it dies out too quickly.

Very functional star light
This product was much better than I had planned it to be. Once it was plugged in and on, it was beautiful. Several different color combos or single colors. Globe rotates or can be still. Comes with a power cord, but it can be plugged in via USB port. That includes a TV, computer, wall charger etc. Very very functional and can be put anywhere. I’m super satisfied and my kids love it!!!!! Great buy.

I bought this for my nephews they absolutely love it! It’s great that you can use batteries or plug it into the wall. It has different color options. It was a little confusing at first. However, you figure out how to change them it’s really great. With the different light and color settings it’s not too bright in the room where still dark but they can see. They like to fall asleep looking at the stars. It has definitely helped the night time routine. If you have a kid who is scared of the dark or a hard time focusing at time before bed this could be a great add on.

Wished I took pictures of it before returning it. Here’s why you shouldn’t waste your money or time purchasing the Projection Lamp (Star night light).1) Extremely cheaply made with thin plastic dome that doesn’t stay on2) The projection is very blurry. We put it in our grandson’s room and set it on his dresser ( 5′ highboy) and it was still very blurry.3) The product is nothing like it shows in their ad! Very disappointed.We unfortunately received this starry night light that was clearly a return from someone else, because ours was missing the screw to hold the cover on over the batteries. Once we put the (3) AA batteries in, the cover wouldn’t close and stay closed because the tiny little screw that is supposed to be there, wasn’t.Also, the black dome, under the top white dome, was dented, so we know someone damaged it and returned it. And as I mentioned above, even when we did charge it (comes with USB cord), the projection was very blurry and looked like blobs of dull colour on the ceiling and walls. Very poor quality and projection.
