Love that there’s no cross bar
The primary thing that drew me to this highchair was that there was no crossbar going over the leg holes like almost every other model highchair out there. My little one loves to cross his legs at the ankles, so threading his legs through any sort of seat with separate leg holes is always challenging so I love that I can just plop him down with a little divider between the legs, that doesn’t actually connect to the tray. It is much easier than threading his individual feet through. The tray is super easy to remove and wash up. There are no tiny crevices to clean. It was very easy to assemble. In fact my mother couldn’t find the instructions and still assembled it on her own easily. The harness is super similar to a car seat so my little one already knows the drill of threading his arms in and out. we initially had the Chicco zest high chair but started looking for an upgrade due to its lack of a foot rest as well as the cross bar difficulties. I also was constantly tripping over the wide legs of the chicco zest but the Uppababy has a much narrow footprint so no more tripping for me! while this is definitely a higher price point we are much happier with it!

Great price, tricky for small spaces.
I ordered this high chair because I have limited space. I loved that the high chair pulled straight to the table with the tray. My other high chair pulls to the table without the tray, but I find the tray is necessary for ages 6-12months when starting solids. I don’t have room for a standalone high chair and a folding option felt like too much work The uppababy ciro seemed to solve all of my problems. However, I ended up returning it. The base of the high chair is intentionally wide so that it does not tip over, however, the wide base means that the legs extend out far beyond the table creating a trip hazard. My husband and I spent two days constantly tripping over the legs and decided the chair was too big for our space. I think the concept is still great, but if you have tight paths of travel like we do, it’s not actually a space saving option. Things that I loved about the high chair is the fact that suction plates and bowls stick to the tray and the harness was great. Like a carseat, you need to tighten it each time, but I find that much easier than constantly adjusting fixed straps for a growing baby. While the chair didn’t work for my space, I would not consider the size a flaw. IMO, the only major flaw is the footrest. My 6 month old is 26.5 inches and their feet barely left the seat and didn;t come close to the higher setting on the footrest as pictured above. I had high hopes that uppababy would include a functional footrest to support the 90/90/90 position, but they did not. Overall, I probably still would have kept this high chair if it fit better in out space because it’s a decent chair for the price.

Best High Chair Purchase
After trying out a ton of high chairs, this one is hands down the best! We’ve been using it for 4 months now and it’s holding up beautifully. The build feels super sturdy, it wipes down easily and the leg space is perfect for my chunky little one. My only minor note is the buckle could feel sturdier, but it’s been completely reliable and easy to use.

I didn’t want to pay this much for a highchair but I don’t regret buying this at all, it was so worth it. The straps are easy to get baby in and out of, and the chair itself is very sturdy. It’s also extremely easy to clean which is nice.
