It is fun to watch my grand ride car ( as he calls it ) very fun indeed ! The wheel falls off often and has to be put on using a tool otherwise it’s hard to put on with hands alone ! That is the only issue ! I’d purchase another for my other grand if I knew the wheel wouldn’t fall off !

I got this for my grandson, who hasn’t tried it yet. But I did, all 230 lbs of me!What a blast! I could steer and go throughout my home. I have wooden floors, no marring occurred. My wife tried it as well, she too thought it was great. I am hoping my grandson will have as much fun as I do with it.Despite the issues below, I’m giving it 5 stars for the sheer fun.Issues :1)no instructions were included but there are a couple youtubes that make it simple.2) the steering wheel bolt was not properly fully seated in the plastic steering wheel. A few taps with a hammer fixed that. (Caution: remove the sliding bolt so it doesn’t get jammed into the expansion tube)I suspect those people complaining they can’t get the steering wheel to tighten up have an improperly seated bolt.3) Rubber mallet suggested to seat things. A regular hammer with a folded small towel works fine.

Handle impossible to get secured in place.
There are several points I’m going to make about why this is getting returned but I’ll start with the one that renders it impossible to use.I’m very adept at putting things together and following instructions. While it appears from some reviews that theirs came with the rubber mallet that the instructions say is critical; ours did NOT come with that. Luckily I have just about every kind of tool including my own set of socket wrenches which I hoped would resolve the fact that the little metal tool they included did NOTHING to tighten the bolt on the steering wheel.Despite having better tools for the job, the bolt wouldn’t tighten at all and no matter what we do the handle comes right off every time. I’m not putting my 3 year old grandchild on this. When my kids were young we had the REAL plasma car which they loved and have all talked about it being a favorite from childhood. Will be returning this and getting a plasmacar.Lots of reviews indicated the handle comes off and unfortunately I didn’t see those until I came back looking for any solution to get this thing put together. They also indicate problems with the wheels (we wouldn’t know as we did not get to that point of use). Some even indicate that the wheels that come with it don’t work but that they got the “upgraded wheels” and installed them and they’re great. I personally don’t feel like buying upgraded wheels should be necessary for it to work right. Also, people who got two at the same time mention one being able to be put together and the other they could not.But I am curious why some people seem to be able to get the handle to attach while others don’t. To me that indicates that there is not uniformity in these products and you don’t know what you’re going to get… so don’t bother.

Great! Been over 1 year since purchased.
Pros: easy to put together after figuring out how to put on the steering wheel. Light weight. Affordable. Feels sturdy. 8 year old loves it. 2 year old loves it although he doesn’t know how to wiggle it to move. Works well on vinyl plank floors and has not scratched it up.Cons: does not work well on the asphalt street- loud and not easy to wiggle.Kids approved! Mother somewhat approves as I wanted an outdoor toy. Gonna wait until monkeypod season ends so we can try it on the cement sidewalk!UPDATE – 1 YEAR LATERMy son is now 3 and 9 and they both STILL love this wiggle car. We never took it outside and kept it as an indoor toy. There were multiple time we needed to tighten the steering wheel but other than that, no issues. Besides monster trucks, this is the only other toy they consistently played with.
