    EVERY NEW PARENT NEEDS THIS!!!
If I could give this 500 out of 5 stars, I would. Nothing is worth more than peace of mind. I did have a little bit of trouble figuring out how to turn the sock off (you hold the main station button down for 4 seconds till you hear 4 beeps, and then I unplug it) because I don’t like leaving it on and charging when i leave the house when it’s already fully charged. It tells me when his oxygen dips in his sleep or if there’s anything concerning. The station will beep yellow if the sock has come off or is improperly placed – and yes it’s annoying but it’s doing its job letting you know the sock isn’t able to monitor the baby properly. It comes with two sizes as baby grows and I use one sock for 2 weeks (left) and then alternate to the right. I use a cheap toothbrush to scrub the sock and be sure to keep it clean or it can cause issues for babies sensitive skin. I am such a paranoid freak and as I’m a first time mom…this is such an incredible product. I love this so much. Yellow – means sock is incorrectly worn/and or coming off. Blue means sock is almost dead and needs to be charged. Lavender means baby isn’t sleeping well/keeps waking up or isn’t comfortable with temperature. RED IS BAD, and thank God I’ve never had red before. But having this product is so essential for all parents. It gives me peace of mind and I love that I can monitor all of his nightly and weekly stats for oxygen and heart rate. It even tells me his comfort temperature. This is extremely accurate and has never given me a tale reading of any kind. Easy to use and once you figur it out and watch a few tutorials, it’s super straight forward. This is an incredibly designed product and it was worth every penny. It even tells you when they’re in light or deep sleep, if they roll over etc it’s so cool. I freak out and I’d wake up so much checking to see if my son was ok, and having this has helped me get more sleep and I love that I’m able to review all of the stats and ensure my peace of mind. This is such a rad product and I think this is an incredible gift for all first time parents. It can be annoying to set up but once you get it down, it’s super easy to use. I only had issues trying to figure out how to turn the actual sock on and off – like I said, make sure it’s on the base station, hold till you hear four beeps and unplug/take off base station and you can wash it or whatever. 🙂 just make sure it’s OFF before you clean it and let it air dry fully in front of a fan.

Peace of Mind for New Parents!
recently had my baby girl and decided to try the Owlet Sock and honestly, it has been one of the best purchases I’ve made as a new mom. The sock is easy to put on, stays in place, and doesn’t bother my baby at all. What I love most is the peace of mind it gives me. I can finally sleep without constantly waking up to check if she’s breathing. The app is super easy to use and the notifications are clear. It tracks her heart rate and oxygen levels, which is incredibly reassuring, especially during those first newborn weeks. The battery lasts through the night, and the charging base is quick and simple. If you’re a nervous or first-time mom (like me!), this product is a lifesaver. It’s definitely worth the price for the reassurance it provides. Highly recommend to any parent looking for extra safety and peace of mind.

I only use this device so my husband doesn’t get to say “I told you so”
I’m not really sure what the point of this device is once your baby moves to their nursery. The base station has to be extremely close to the sock or an alarm goes off due to connectivity issues. My bluetooth headphones were half the cost of this sock and function perfectly when across the house from my phone, so the technology definitely exists. If I keep the base station in my bedroom, right across the hallway from my baby, the base is too far away from the sock. What good does it do to keep the base in the same room as baby? I can hear my baby crying long before I hear the base go off in the other room. That said, the base IS loud enough to wake my baby. This is especially annoying when the sock placement is just slightly off, causing an alarm to go off and wake the baby, who then has to lay there listening to it until he’s upset enough to cry. The app does set off an alarm on my phone, but only if my phone is open and I’m looking at the app, even with all permissions granted. What good does that do anyone at 2 am?As for the “helpful” alarms, there are two additional types of alarm: lavender (baby is awake and needs help getting back to sleep) and red (baby is potentially having a medical emergency and needs checked.) The lavender alarm is seemingly nonexistent. If baby is moving too much to get a reading, the yellow connectivity alarm goes off. If baby is awake and moving enough to tell the app baby is awake, but not enough to disrupt connection, no alarm goes off. Even if the app indicates baby has been awake for an hour, the lavender alarm will not go off. But who knows, maybe this is a good thing since the app can’t tell the difference between baby being awake and baby being rocked to sleep (which will occasionally cause the yellow connectivity alarm to go off, usually right as you get baby to sleep). As for the red alarm, I can’t comment too much on it as it’s only gone off once (which I am thankful for.) That being said, it went off while I was holding my baby and had the app open on my phone. My baby was perfectly fine, awake, and content. The app says the red alarm goes off when pulse is below 50 or above 220, or when O2 is below 80. But according to the app, my baby had a heart rate of 120 and an O2 sat of 90% at the time the red alarm went off. When I went through the history to see if I missed something, the 90% O2 sat wasn’t even logged, and instead it showed an O2 sat of 96% at that time. So again, I question just how trustworthy this expensive device really is.Also, don’t bother paying for the app. All it does it attempt to compare your baby to other Owlet users (length and number of wake windows, length of deep sleep, length of overall sleep). Since it can’t tell the difference between an awake baby and a baby being held, it’s not remotely accurate.

    Lifesaver!
Our owlet dream sock is a must have!! It works so good and has put us at ease every night since having our son. It is expensive but so worth the money! It tracks their sleep in three different phases. Active or awake, light sleep, or deep sleep. It tracks their oxygen saturation along with their heart rate. We have had a couple times that his oxygen has gone down and it has alarmed. I am a very deep sleeper and the alarm is loud enough to wake me up. They send you two different sized socks and they are slightly stretchy and fit so good! We have used ours everyday for the last year and it still works like a champ. Super durable and soft fabric.

I have never been so happy about a purchase. With all of the controversy around an item like this, I am so beyond happy I purchased it. I was told I would have heightened anxiety by using it, that I would never stop checking the app, etc.But this item saved me while I was freshly post partum. I spent so much time worrying about falling asleep myself, because I couldn’t stop checking on my newborn. I ordered this when she was a month old and she has never gone a night without it since (she’s 1, and she will be giving it up soon for our newborn who is due in a few months).I have had no false alarmsThe app works great for both my husbands phone and my phone together (one of us has an android the other has an apple and the apps are different but work fine regardless).I can see my babies heartbeat, and the O2 updates every 10 minutes. So worth the price. We love it.

El producto no funciona en México. Para la devolución, astutamente te mandan una “etiqueta” y te dicen que pagues la paquetería y ellos te hacen la devolución. Hasta ahora no me han devuelto nada y no contestan mis mensajes. Ojo con esto!!
