Very Durable, Great Car Toys for Younger Toddlers
Once again, not disappointed one bit with a Melissa & Doug product! Bought this set and the construction set for my 22 month old for Easter and he absolutely loves them. They are the first cars we have gotten him that actually keeps him entertained and that he drives around. He also LOVES pulling the people in and out of the cars and trying to match them back to the correct vehicle. They are well built and look great. So far they have been incredibly durable, even when he drives them off the table onto the floor of throws them down.If you are looking for some early cars to get your younger toddler, I would highly recommend these.

Rescue set is a hit with our 2-year-old nephew!
I LOVE Melissa & Doug toys, and this set was absolutely at the top of my list of great toys! I bought this set for our 2-year-old nephew as my husband is a firefighter, and the rescue set was perfect! They are high quality and fit out nephew’s hand size perfectly, yet do not have any small parts that are hazardous for his age. The little people are a great touch!

Durability is amazing!
I bought my grandson 3 different sets of Doug and Melissa toys. He is 18 months old, and he played with ALL of them equally. High quality products, great imagination gone into the products, and no need to worry about breakage or objects being swallowed. Perfection!

Fun emergency vehicles with people
So much fun! My grandkids have all loved big trucks and emergency vehicles. These brightly colored vehicles are built to survive lots of “super big crashes” (my 3 yr. old grandson). The people can be in or out of the vehicles, causing or being victims of aforesaid “super big crashes”! Lots of room for imagination here.

Melissa & Doug toys have served our daughter well during her toddler years. This Vehicle Wooden Play Set was a favorite of hers and my wife and I can rest easy knowing she has a durable, safe playset that is colorful and promotes creative play. I especially like the idea of having each vehicle accompanied by its operator (i.e. Policeman, Fireman, Ambulance Driver, Helicopter Pilot) which adds another dimension to the play and, also, helps teach the child each of these important roles in our society. Most of all, these are just plain fun and even I get caught up in my youth, a little bit, when playing with her. These are built to last so, as long as you can keep the vehicle operators from getting lost in the house (a challenge every parent can understand), you will have many years of fun play in your house with this set.

The children in my kindergarten class love these. We’ve only used them for the month of November (community helpers unit) but they have lasted with no breakage, paint chipping or pieces lost.

Purchase for my grandsons birthday, he loves the wooden vehicles. But when I received the plastic was broken and the policeman got out!! I didn’t have time to return party was the next day. He still loves it even though the policeman is missing.
