The included instructions and batteries are most of the problems people encounter with this toy. First, batteries. They are the most important item needed to enjoy any RC Toy. Before first use, fully charge the primary battery. You will know it is fully charged when the red led goes out, not on. See pictures 1 & 2. Do not bother using the included remote batteries. Start off with a fresh pair of high quality batteries. See picture 3. The screws people complain about are there to keep the batteries in place during play. Without them, the batteries will come spilling out with every drop and crash. Yes, an adult should be performing the battery charging and swaps. The screws holding the battery covers are metal screwing into ABS plastic. It is easy to strip out the threads in the holes if they are over tightened or removed with too much force. Go slow removing and replacing the screws. Most of the problems people are complaining about can be resolved by following these tips. I am giving this toy as a gift, I may never get to play with it, so I charged both main batteries and installed better batteries in the remote. The instructions state that each rechargable battery (600mA) should last 15 to 20 minutes. If you want more time between charges, Find a higher capacity battery, such as https://www.amazon.com.be/-/en/800mAh-Li-ion-Battery-Charger-Robots/dp/B0CRVN48JF. Do not expect great results if you do not follow proper RC battery standard practices. Enjoy!

Absolute hit at the beach.
Got invited to a week at the beach by my brother and his family. Being the number one favorite (also only) uncle that I am, I ordered two of these and brought them for the two kiddos (6 and 8)… They were a hit!Battery time was about 15-20 minutes on hard packed sand and asphalt.

Solid performance for the price
Had for around a month or so now and impressed considering the performance for the price….though admittedly I haven’t had a remote control car for a couple decades. We use this as a toy for our ten-ish pound puppy to chase and it travels fifty plus feet from the controller and moves at a decent rate of speed in the area where we cut our grass short. Battery life has not been an issue for us but it only keeps the puppy’s interest for thirty minutes at most.

Fun until the remote broke.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It lasted two days! Lots of fun until he fell and dropped the remote and it broke so badly there is no way to fix it. It’s made of hard cheap plastic (the controller)! So I can only give 3 stars. With young boys I expect it to be tougher!

Cette voiture fonctionne bien et a l’avantage de bénéficier de 2 piles rechargeables sur USB ainsi point de panne si on anticipe. Elle se faufile partout, tourne sur elle même et se retourne, petit bémol : il faut prendre le temps de bien connaitre la télécommande afin de savoir la diriger au mieux, mais ça le fait !

Bon produit qui à l’air à première vue solide. Pour les batteries, elles sont faciles à recharger et l’autonomie est suffisante pour moi.Le seul bémol est que le véhicule est plutôt difficile à manier. La voiture a tendance à aller dans tous les sens et on a du mal à lui faire prendre une ligne droite. On doit pousser les 2 manettes en même temps et à la micro seconde…. Peut être un coup à prendre mais pour l’instant elle se prend les murs sans dégâts. À voir dans le temps.
