Super sweet stunts! Build your own gumball machines and learn physics lessons in the process. A turn of a handle dispenses one gumball at a time out of the clear storage globe and down the track. The gumballs land in a collection cup and can easily and sanitarily be returned to the globe for another run. The track segments can be moved around on the base to create an almost limitless number of different gumball machines. As the gumballs roll down the track, they perform cool stunts and tricks. Stunts include a pulley lift, pendulum, funnel, trampoline, variable-slope ramp, pinball launcher, and domino slide. Each segment of the track teaches a different lesson in mechanical physics, allowing users to explore topics including simple machines, force, motion, momentum, gravity, Newton’s laws, energy transfer, and more. Trial-and-error experiments teach in a fun, hands-on way: will your gumball successfully make it to the end of the track, or will you have to re-engineer your gumball machine to make it work? The kit works with standard machine-size, 16-mm (5/8-inch) gumballs and includes a small supply of gumballs to get started.
Build your own gumball machine with this science kit that’s part marble run, Part roller coaster, Part pinball machine!
Each segment of track teaches a different lesson in mechanical physics, exploring topics such as simple machines, force, motion, momentum, gravity, Newton’s laws, energy transfer, and more.
Track segments are modular and can be easily moved around to create an almost limitless number of different gumball machines.
As they roll down the tracks, the gumballs perform cool stunts via a pulley lift, pendulum, funnel, trampoline, pinball launcher, domino slide, and more!

great
great product! all different ways to build and put your builder skills to use. would buy more gum though as the gum is a little hard when we received it.

My granddaughter loves this
My granddaughter loves it . I got for her for her birthday. She just turned 10 .

Cheap plastic, arrived broken. Still usable and some fun but not for the price.
First of all it arrive with a crack in the container to hold the gum balls. Easily fixed with tape but still. Plastic seems cheap overall and we were afraid of breaking it further the entire time putting it together.Got it as a silly gift for my adult brother and I and our father. We would probably rate it as a 2 but going to give it a 3 for kids. The mechanism to release a gumball was almost useless. It constantly jammed in both directions and was almost impossible to get a gum all out. This would be the biggest frustration for a child.Several of the “experiments” are overhyped, especially the claim that they teach physics. The dominoes is a disappointment – the ball is intended to fall off the track. Actually it’s intended to fall off for several of the “experiments”. The momentum trap track was basically just the same as the 180 degree track.A few experiments were fun though! Trampoline was cool, although assembly was confusing. Centripetal force funnel was also cool. Slingshot was definitely entertaining even as an adult.Be aware that you can only do a few experiments at once due to the height of the gym all machine, especially if you want to do ones requiring more height like the pendulum.Overall I guess I’d recommend it if it was $10-15 max but for the price it’s not really worth it and I could see it being frustrating for children.

Fun
This was an arse to assemble, there’s the instructions book and a QR code to take you to a video on how to assemble it in different ways. The videos are too quick for me, I had to watch the video a dozen times to get it right. Frustrating but at least I left a few strands of hair left on my husband’s head 😄👌🏼. It came with a small bag of 14mm size gumballs, I wanted more so I found the 14 mm size gumballs, Double Bubble. Nice big bag just right for the gumball machine. Have to keep twisting it until a gumball comes out. But be careful that you don’t break it. Twist it one way and another to get one completely out. Sometimes it works with a few twists in one direction. The rest of the things I put into a ziploc bag to keep them in one place and easy to find. 4 stars because it was challenging for me and seems like it will break easily if not cautious. In the end, it turned out well and was fun to play with. I did the pinball so my daughter is having fun and sharing everyone’s gum💖👌🏼.

Waste of money
This product is a pain to figure out and very cheaply made. I bought it for my eight year old and she could not figure it out. We followed the instructions and things did not line up. We watched the videos and followed their instructions and it did not work. The pieces keep falling off, the domino section does not work at all and the dominoes keep falling off their track. The gum ball dispenser just crushes the gum balls. It is so hard to turn it feels like the handle will break and we must constantly keep twisting it backwards to unclog a jam. I would not recommend this to anyone even if it only cost a dollar.

GREAT STEM TOY that teaches Physics in a fun new way.
Where do I start, how about with the CONS. The gumballs actually taste good, so they are going to get eaten. So … Yup, that’s the cons list. Now for the PROS, This is another great science kit from Thames & Kosmos, but this time They put the GUM in FUN! Or is that the FUN in GUM … Anyways right outta the box, you can tell that there’s a lot going on, starting with this kit from the QR code on the front that takes you to a number of explanatory videos that mirror the experiments in the box, where they take you through various experiments that teach you about the different pieces in the kit, like the Smooth track, Momentum track, inclined plane, Centripetal Force funnel, etc. To the “expert set-ups” in the manual that show you how to combine the different pieces and combinations to construct almost like a gumball “Rube Goldberg” machine. And this is where the real fun begins, combining the various parts, creating different experiments, observing the actions and reactions, making adjustments, and doing it all again is where your kids are going to have a great time and get lost in it. To be honest, your kids probably won’t even get to the expert set-ups before they are off on a tangent bouncing gumballs off the trampoline, trying to land them in the funnel, where they will circle around and head off to pendulum and then to the … Forget about handing the kids the iPad, put this in front of them, and watch their creativity soar while they have a great time learning physics in the process.

Not well made
Some parts did not sit flat like they were supposed to that is why I am only giving it to Stars. Gumballs often jump the track and it was not very strong plastic.

Not worth the price, reasons follow:1- it has edible gum-balls which are soft and gets stuck in the machine.2- gum-balls leave color on kids hands3- assembly is not easy instructions are not clear4- build quality of the machine is good but major elements i.e gum-balls are edible and soft.

Its a little janky feeling. Not a super smooth easy thing to use and do with kids. But still pretty fun.

Après un certain niveau, la gomme tombe par terre à chaque fois. Rester pris c’est une chose mais quand ca se mange, ca serait l’fun que ca ne soit pas éjecté vers le sol!

It’s like a marble run gone horribly wrong !Real low quality runners and plastic

This product is absolutely garbage. The gimbals get stuck in the top turning mechanism( which comes pre assembled). If the gumball makes its way out, it’s totally deformed and the top colour has tuned into powder. If it doesn’t come out, you have to take out all the gum balls to release the one that is stuck. The domino feature does not work. This machine is not wort $60. This is a dollar store product at best. Very disappointed
